2 Warm up: (5’)

- Pass the ball “How many lessons/ How often you have…/ I have….” - Read the chant: How often you have.?

- Ss play into groups and actions and then individually( 2-3 Ss) - T & Ss praise the good Ss

Act 1: Read and complete.(8’)

- Tell the class that they are going to read the passage and complete the sentences

- Get thern to read the sentences and guess the answers before looking for the relevant information in the reading passage

- Set a time limit for pupils to the task independently Monitor the activity and offer help, if necessary

- Have pupils compare their answers before checking as a class

- Get some Ps to say the words and sentences Correct the pronunciation, if necessary

Act Write about your school and lessons: (10’)

a Pre- writing

- Ask Ps to answer T’s questions

- Tell the class that they are going to write about their school and lessons

- Have Ps works in pairs or in groups to discuss and guess what they will fill in the gaps

b While-writing

- Give them time to read the gapped text and write the first draft

- Set a time limit for them to the writing independently Monitor the activity and offer help, if necessary

- Remind them about punctuation and when to use capital letters

- Get pupils to work in pairs or groups to discuss what they should include in their letters

- Set a time limit for them to the task - Invite a few pairs/groups to read their letters to the class and give feedback

- Have the class read the statements and check their comprehension

- Give them time to colour the stars and invite a few Ps to read the statements aloud

- Give further support to Ps who find it difficult to achieve certain objectives

- Tell the class that they are going to write a letter to a pen friend to talk about their timetables

for Ss to listen and follow in their book

- Play the recording again for Ss repeat the text several times.( line by line in the bubbles)
