(1)MAKE QUESTIONS FOR THE UNDERLINED I Các ý dạng đặt câu hỏi với từ gạch chân
1 Trước hết ta phải xác định từ để hỏi
2 Từ bị gạch chân không bao giờ xuất câu hỏi Nếu câu:
Dùng động từ thường ta phải mượn trợ động từ đảo trợ động từ lên trước chủ ngữ sau từ để hỏi
Eg: They play football everyday. => What they play everyday?
Dùng “động từ tobe”, “động từ khuyết thiếu” ta cần đảo “động từ tobe”, “động từ khuyết thiếu” lên trước chủ ngữ sau từ để hỏi: Eg: She is planting trees now.
=> What is she planting now?
Nếu câu có từ bị gạch chân dùng từ sau chuyển sang câu hỏi ta phải đổi tương ứng sau:
a I, We => You b me, us => you c mine, ours => yours d my, our => your e some => any
II Các từ để hỏi thường gặp Tiếng Anh
What: (Dùng để hỏi cho đồ vật, vật, kiện ) Which: mà (Dùng để hỏi có lựa chọn)
Where: đâu (Dùng để hỏi cho vị trí, nơi chốn ) When: (Hỏi cho thời gian, thời điểm ) Who: ai, người mà (Hỏi cho người)
=> Whom: người mà (Hỏi cho tân ngữ người) Eg: I buy him some books.
=> Who/ Whom you buy any books (for)?
=> Whose: người mà (Hỏi cho tính từ sở hữu, sở hữu cách, đại từ sở hữu) Eg: This is her pen?
=> Whose pen is this?
Why: (Hỏi cho lí do, nguyên nhân) What’s the weather like?: hỏi cho thời tiết What color: hỏi cho màu sắc
What size: hỏi cho kích cỡ What/ Which+noun: Which book you like? How heavy: hỏi cho cân nặng
How + + S + come / get to / travel ?: hỏi phương tiện How: (Hỏi cho tính từ, trạng từ, sức khoẻ )

Eg: This ruler is 20 centimeters long. => How long is this ruler?
=> How long: hỏi cho thời gian Eg: It takes me an hour to my homework.
=> How long does it take you to your homework?
(Nó lấy bạn thời gian để làm tập nhà?) How often: hỏi cho mức độ, tần suất, số lần
Eg: I go to school every day.
=> How often you go to school? How much: hỏi cho giá
Eg: This book is 3$.
=> How much is this book?
=> How much does this book cost? => What is the price of this book?
How much + N (ko đếm được): hỏi cho số lượng Eg: There is some water in the bottle.
=> How much water is there in the bottle?
How many + N(es, s): hỏi cho số lượng với danh từ đếm Eg: There are two pens on the table.
=> How many pens are there on the table? Eg: I have a pen here.
