1.Knowledge- By the end of this lesson, students will be able to know and use

2 Skills: Practice and develope lisening and speaking skills.

1.Knowledge- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use and practice

superlative adjectives and modal verb: “must” + Vocabulary:

+ Grammar: Superative adjectives and modal verb “must”

2 Skills: Practice and develope lisening , writing ,speaking skills.

3.Attitude: Educate students to know the value of natural wonders in Viet Nam and

also in the world and advice them should good things to protect natural wonders

4 Competence: Ss can use and practice superlative adjectives and modal verb: “must”

- T asks one good student to act as Vy, and read the sentences to the class - Ss listen and tick T / F

- T checks Ss’ answers by reading the sentences again, asking Ss to students to stand if they think the sentence is true, or remain seated if they think the sentence is false

Step2: The comparatives and the superlatives ( 17 minutes) * Activity 1: Watch out ( Part p 51)

- T asks Ss to look back at Vy’s sentences, find and underline all the examples of “est”

- T asks Ss to compare No with the other sentences Ask what is different about “hottest”?

- Ss should remember examples from comparative sentences in the previous unit - T reminds Ss of the rule Then give some adjectives and ask if the consonant is doubled, eg big (yes), fast (not), wet (yes), green (no)

* Activity 2: Complete the passage ( Part p 52)

- T shows a map of the world/globe Then point out Africa, Antarctica, Russia and Nepal and ask Ss what they think the places are like

Do you think Africa is hot or cold?

Do you think there are deserts there? Or waterfalls? Do you think it’s the same or different to Viet Nam? - T asks Ss to read the passage quickly to check their answers

- Ss complete the passage with the correct words Pairs can practise role-playing the completed passage
