Put up the phonics cards on the board

Write the respective words on separate pieces of paper

Hand out the pieces of paper to the students and ask them to form a line at the front of the board in the same order as the phonics card o the board

Repeat the procedure with another group of students (change the order of the phonics cards on the board)

Put up the kite, kitten and koala phonics cards on the board

Point to the koala and say: “the koala has a kitten” The students repeat

Follow the same procedure and present the rest of the song
