LESSON : A CLOSER LOOK (P 41 - 42) A OBJECTIVES:

- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use and practice comparisons and express agreement

+ Vocabulary:

+ Grammar: - Comparisions : (not) as as / the same as / different from - express agreement using too & either

- Skills: practice and develop speaking, reading and writing skills

- Political thought and moral sense: help Ss to know more about music and art B TEACHING AIDS:

I Organization(1’) - Greeting

II Warm up jumbled words (5’)

- Show Ss some words with the letters are jumbled

- Ask Ss to reorder the letters to find out the meaning words - Give Ss one minute to prepare

- Ss discuss in groups Then go to the board to show their answers - T corrects with whole class

- Your ruler is the same as my ruler - Your shirt is different from my shirt * T gives concept check:

+ as + adjective +as to show that two things are similar

+ not as +adjective + as to mean something is 'more' or ' less' than something else + the same as to show similarity

+ different from to show that two or more things are different

* part1: SS complete the sentences by putting as, than, or from in the gaps. - Let Ss run through all the sentences

- Make sure Ss understand the meaning - SS work individually to their task - pair compare

- T corrects with whole class

- Ask some ss to read the full sentences

- Ask ss to run through all sentences
