Objective: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Know more about Hoa –Lan –Nien. - Read the dialogue for details. * Moral lesson: Sts should be taught about the value of friendship. II. Language content: - Vocabulary :seem, next door neighbor, look like. - Grammar: to be + (not) adj + enough + to –inf. III. Teaching aids: books, pictures, a tape. Procedures Stages Activities Warm up Greetings and checking attendence Checking the previous lesson *Chatting: -T asks questions: Are you happy when you come back school? Why? Do you have any close friends? Tell us something about him/ her? -Ss answer them . - T writes on the board. * Getting started: -Ask Ss to look at the pictures and describe them by asking and answering the questions in pairs : a. How many people are there in each picture ? b. What are they doing ? c.What time of the day do you think it is ? . Presentation I. Production -Ask Ss to play “guessing game” .T divides the clas in two group .T gives group A a picture of a famous person . Group A describe and group B guess who she/he is in the picture. Pre-listening -T asks some questions : What do you say if you want to meet some one? What will you say when you are introduced to someone ? What will you say when you introduce someone? -Ask Ss to choose the expressions to answer the questions . -Give Ss some expressions and make sure they know their meaning.
