is a basic principle of Marxism - Leninism Practice is the basis, motivation, purpose of reasoning and is the criterion of truth examination Theory formed and developed on a practical basis, is a generalization of practical experience When theories form, it guides and directs practical activities, outlines directions and methods to help practical activities to succeed Therefore, in all human activities, it is necessary to have a close association between theory and practice On the one hand, creative reasoning must be applied to practical direction, on the other hand, it is necessary to know how to analyze and summarize reality to generalize the theory Without properly applying this relationship, human activities cannot be effective Ho Chi Minh’s ideology is a system of scientific and creative theories associated with Vietnamese revolutionary practice, manifested in many fields Whatever the field, Ho Chi Minh’s ideology always expresses deeply the unity between theory and practice, especially in teaching political theory to officials and party members, expressed in purpose, content and teaching methods The teaching of political theory in our country has achieved certain achievements, but there are still many limitations: formality, achievement disease, dogma, program content and training methods are slow to innovate, not associated with theory and practical review At present, hostile forces continue to distort Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh ideologies, oppose the construction of socialism in our country, especially they intensify "peaceful evolution" , making a part of cadres and party members "self-evolve" and "self-transform", manifested in both awareness, belief and action The topic "Ho Chi Minh’s ideology on the unity between theory and practice and its application in the teaching of political theory in Vietnam today" contributes to raising the level and the political guts, the working capacity of officials and party members, improving the capacity and fighting power of the Party Research purposes and missions 2.1 Research purpose Clarify the content of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology about the unity between theory and practice, assess the situation of applying the above ideology in teaching political theory to officials and party members, propose some key solutions weak to improve the quality of teaching political theory to officials and party members in Vietnam today 2.2 Research missons To accomplish the above purpose, the thesis identifies and performs the following research tasks: Firstly, collect and systematize scientific works related to the topic; analyze and evaluate these works according to the specific contents of the topic, inheriting reasonable views, consistent with the research direction of the topic Secondly, analyzing and clarifying the basic contents of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology about the relationship between theory and practice, especially in teaching political theory Thirdly, analyzing the situation of utilizing Ho Chi Minh's ideology about the unity between theory and practice in teaching political theory to officials and party members in Vietnam today Fourthly, propose some solutions to improve the quality of political theory teaching staff for Ho Chi Minh’s ideology based on the unity between theory and practice Research subject and scope 3.1 Research subjects Ho Chi Minh's ideology about the unity between theory and practice and its application in teaching political theory to cadres and party members at the provincial and municipal political schools in Vietnam today 3.2 Research scope The thesis focuses on clarifying the content of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology about the unity between theory and practice Applying this ideology in teaching political theory to cadres and party members at the provincial and municipal political schools in Vietnam today Rationale and research methods of the thesis 4.1 Rationale The thesis is based on the theory of Marxism - Leninism, Ho Chi Minh’s ideology on the unity between theory and practice, the views of the Communist Party of Vietnam on teaching political theory to officials ministries and party members in Vietnam At the same time, the thesis also inherits some achievements of the research works of scientists related to the thesis 4.2 Research methodology of the thesis The thesis is based on the methodology of Marxism - Leninism, Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and the views of the Communist Party of Vietnam on the unity between theory and practice To clarify the content of the research, the thesis uses basic research methods such as: Logical - historical method; methods of analysis - synthesis; method of comparison comparison; professional solution New contributions of the thesis - The thesis analyzes, generalizes and systematizes Ho Chi Minh’s ideology content about the unity between theory and practice, especially in teaching political theory to officials and party members - The thesis clarifies the concept of political theory, some theoretical issues about teaching political theory to officials and party members: the role of teaching political theory, on the peculiarity of the subject of teaching political theory to officials and party members; analyze the current situation of applying Ho Chi Minh’s ideology about the unity between theory and practice in teaching political theory to officials and party members in Vietnam today - The thesis proposes a number of basic solutions to improve the quality of teaching political theory to cadres and party members based on Ho Chi Minh’s ideology on the unity between country, but must follow the specific situation in the country and the world in order to have a suitable direction and find a revolutionary path to save the country, to save the people 2.1.3 Ho Chi Minh's subjective factors A rich process of practical experience, along with dialectical thinking style, stands out as independent and autonomous thinking, with the ability to summarize practice and high criticality, is an important basis for the formation of thinking Ho Chi Minh's ideology on the unity between theory and practice.During his revolutionary activities, thanks to his deep political to cadres and party members 2.3.1 Ho Chi Minh's ideology on the unity between theory and practice in the purpose of teaching political theory Firstly, teaching political theory in order to help cadres and party members get rid of the negative effects of the old education, and shape new standards and values Secondly, teaching political theory in order to raise awareness of political theory among
