Trờng THCS Nghiêm Xuyên - Giáo án: Anh Văn 7 - Giáo viên: Phạm Thị Hồng Toan Period 1 Introduction/ Revision Prepare: I. Aims Hớng dẫn học sinh hiểu và nắm vững cấu trúc SGK 7. Từ đó giúp các em có đợc phơng pháp học tập hiệu quả nhất và gây hứng thú, say mê học hộ môn. II. Contents Tiếng anh 7 nhằm giúp các em tiếp tục làm quen với tiếng anh mà các em đã học đồng thời giúp các em luyện tập để có thể nghe- nói- đọc- viết bằng tiếng anh ở mức độ đơn giản thông qua các nội dung bài học đa dạng. Tiếng anh 7 gồm 16 đơn vị bài học, mỗi đơn vị gồm 2 phần A và B. Mỗi phần t- ơng ứng với từng nội dung có liên quan với chủ đề chung của đơn vị bài học.Mỗi phần bài học gồm các hoạt động sau . 1/ Giới thiệu ngữ liệu mới: Gồm các mục nh: listen- repeat/ listen- read nhằm giới thiệu nội dung chủ đề, các từ ngữ, cấu trúc hay chức năng ngôn ngữ mới đợc sử dụng . 2/ Kiểm tra mức độ hiểu ngữ liệu mới: Gồm các hoạt động nh: ask (question)- answer/ practice with a partner/ match/ true or false. Nhằm giúp các em hiểu đợc các từ, các cấu trúc hay chức năng ngôn ngữ và nội dung các thông tin trong bài. 3/ Thực hành Đợc thông qua các bài tập khác nhau về nghe- nói- đọc- viết các nội dung có liên quan đến chủ đề của bài. P re parati on 1. Teacher: - Picture of the reading text and the dialogue. 2. Students: - See the greetings and introduction in the Tieng Anh 6 over again. II I. Proc ed ur e: stages activities 1. Ice- breaking 2. Pre- teaching 3. While- teaching - T gives remarks on the 1 st test. - Introduce the main content and structure of Tieng Anh 7. - T asks questions about Ss’ holiday: a. How is your holiday? b. How do you feel to be back to school again? c. How do you greet your friends when you met again? - T makes a Brainstorm of the greetings:  Good morning!  Hello.  Hi.  Nice to meet you. Act 1: Listen. Then practice with a partner - T asks Ss to look at the picture, then presents the situation of the dialogue by asking questions: a. Do you know Ba, Nga and Hoa? b. What are they doing now ?  Class 7A Greeting each other stages activities 4. Post- teaching - T plays the tape, Ss listen and repeat the dialogue. Then Ss practice the dialogue in groups of three. T goes around to help weak Ss or groups. - T calls some groups to practice aloud before the class. - T asks Ss to work in groups again : read the questions and answer those questions. Questions: Answers: a. What is the new student’s name? b. What class is she in? c. Who is also in class 7A?  Her name is Hoa  She is in class 7A  Nam is also in class 7A - Ss practice in pairs asking and answering the above questions and answers. Act 2: Read. Then answer the questions about Hoa - T presents: Hoa is the new girl in Quang Trung school. She is in class 7A with Nam, Ba and Nga. Now read the text about Hoa and answer the following questions: a. Where is Hoa from? b. Who is she staying with? c. Does she have a lot of friends in Ha Noi ? d. How is the new school different from the old one? e. Why is Hoa unhappy? - In groups, Ss read the text and answer the questions. a. She is from Hue. b. She staying with her uncle and aunt. c. No, she doesn’t d. Her new school is bigger than the old one. e. Homework: - Ss work in groups, talk about their own old school, using structure: “It is bigger/smaller than….” - T remind Ss the structure : To be different from smt, the structures of greetings and the main content of the text about Hoa. - At home, write 5 sentences about your old school and 5 sentences about your new school and read the dialogue again for fluency. - Prepare for the next lesson A 3 – 4 – 5 Un it 1 back to school Period 3 A. friends (a 3 – 4 – 5) Planning date: I. Obje ctiv es : 1. Language: - Revision of greetings and introduction. - The present simple tense. - Make familiar with social English. 2. Skills: - Listening comprehension, then complete the dialogue and combine pictures. II. Preparation 1. Teacher: - Picture of the listening text and the dialogue. 2. Students: - Prepare homework. III. Proced ure: stages activities 1. Ice- breaking 2. - Check Ss’ homework and preparation. - Practice greeting in the class. Practice: - T asks Ss to work in groups to find as many words as they can to add to the Network: a. Formal greetings : Good morning/good afternoon/good evening b. Informal greetings : Hello/Hi - Ss practice greetings each other in pairs, T goes around, encouraging Ss to speak aloud. Activity 1: Listen. Then practice with a partner - T present the picture of the dialogue between Mr. Tan and Nga, asks eliciting questions: 1. Who are they? They are Nga and Mr. Tan. 2. What are they doing? They are greeting each other. - T plays the tape, Ss listen to the dialogue. For the 1 st time, Ss can listen with books open. For the 2 nd time, Ss close their books, listen and repeat. stages activities - Ss practice the dialogue in pairs, T encourage Ss close their books and practice. Then some pairs stand up practicing greetings aloud before the class. T correct the pronunciation and intonation for Ss. Activity 2: Listen. Then complete the dialogue: - T presents the structure often used in everyday English to greet or ask after each other. T can give explanation for the new structure and ask Ss to tell the meaning of the old ones. How are you today? Just fine. So am I. How are you ? Not bad. Me, too. How is everything ? Pretty good. How about you ? Production - T asks each group to send one S to write their answers on the bb to compare with others, T checks and correct for the last time: a) Mr. Tan : Hello, Lien. How are you? Miss Lien : Pretty good, thank you. How about you, Tan? Mr. Tan : Not bad, but I am very busy. Miss Lien : Me, too. b) Nam : Good morning, Nga. How is everything? Nga : OK, thanks. How are you today, Nam? Nam : Just fine, thanks. Nga : I’m going to the lunch room. Nam : Yes, so am I AcT. 3. Listen. write the letter of dialogue as you hear: - T presents the 4 pictures p. 13, asking eliciting questions and asks Ss to write the letter of the picture which is described : 1. Who are in the 1 st / 2 nd /’3 rd /4 th picture? 2. What ate they doing? - T makes a listening table on bb, asks Ss to predict the order of the picture they are going to listen. stages activities 4. Production: Predict 1 st time 2 nd time 3 rd time Correct c b d a - Ss work in groups to listen to the dialogue. Each group sends one S to be secretary to write their answer on the Study report. - T plays the tape 3 times, stops after each time to check if there are any answers. T corrects mistake and gives out the key answers. T can gives marks for active Ss. - Ss work in pairs to make their own dialogues and practice with their partners. Ss will make familiar with how to write their own personal information on a form. II. Pr ep ar at io n 1. Teacher: - Picture of the listening text and the dialogue. - A personal information form. - Some short activity. 2. Students: - Revise questions words. - Make their own information form as model at page 16 – TA 7. III. Proced ure: stages activities 1. Ice- breaking (5’) 2. T sum up all the Ss’ work and write on bb What Who Why - Ss read in chorus all the question words written on the bb and note down if they can’t remember. Activity 1: Listen. Then practice with a partner - T presents the picture of the dialogue, then asks some eliciting questions: a. Who are in the picture ? b. Where are they ? c. What are the students doing ? d. What is the teacher doing ? - T plays the tape, then explain the difficult words in the dialogue, such as: Pham Thi Hoa family name middle name First name - Ss make the same diagram for their name into their notebooks. - T plays the tape again, pause sentence by sentence for Ss to repeat, then in closed pairs, Ss practice the dialogue. T goes around to help weak Ss. - Ss answer the questions, then practice asking and answering about Hoa. Key answers: 1. Hoa is talking to her teacher 2. Hoa’s family name is Pham 3. Her middle name is Thi 4. She lives on 12 Tran Hung Dao street. - Ss practice introducing their own family names, middle names and first names. T calls Ss introduce over the class. stages activities Activity 2: write. Who are in the picture ? (They are Nga and Lan) b. Who are they talking about? (They are talking about Hoa) c. Do you know what are we going to do? ( Complete the dialogue) d. How to complete it? (Filling suitable questions words) - Ss work in groups to complete the dialogue, T goes around to control the class and help weak groups. - Each group sends one person to write their results on bb, T checks and corrects all. T also can gives remarks on how the groups work. Key answers: Who Who What Where Where How - Ss practice the complete dialogue in pairs, T corrects the pronunciation and intonation. Activity 3: Make a information form - T asks the questions to let Ss know how to complete this activity and also present the form (Ss have already prepare at home). 1. How to ask if you want to know someone’s name? 2. How to ask if you want to know his/her age? 3. How to ask if you want to know which school she/he go to? 4.
