Lesson Plan – Unit 14_Language Focus – Nguyen Thi Quynh Nam UNIT 14: THE WORLD CUP Lesson 5: Language Focus Name of teacher: Nguyen Thi Quynh Nam Date and time: 15h30 - Monday, March 19th, 2018 I OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - pronounce /g/ and /k/ correctly - distinguish the use of “will” and “going to” - use “will” and “going to” appropriately - know how to use “will” to make predictions and offers II LANGUAGE CONTENTS: Vocabulary containing syllables /g/ and /k/ Grammar related to the difference between “will” and “going to”, and the use of “will” III TEACHING AIDS: - Projector and screen; - Blackboard and chalk IV PROCEDURE: Steps/Activities Time Stage 5’ Warm-up Teacher activities - Divide the class into big groups to play the game “Whisper” + Each team sends representatives to form one line in front of the board + Show some words with /g/ and /k/ sound on the screen Learner activities -
