I OBJECTIVES

1 Knowledges: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to

- New words: Words related to music

2 Skills:

- Improve passage comprehension skill

- Reading for specifics information

- Speaking: Talk in pairs and express their opinion

3 Attitude: Active to broaden and percept the knowledge.

- To help Ss scan for specific information about music

- To help them improve reading skill

- The vocans related to Music

III PREPARATIONS

1 Method: Reading skills (skimming and scanning), asking and answering

2 Teaching aids: Teacher’s book, textbook, chalk, black board, handout, picture, audio

1 Organization:

Suggested answers:

1 There are five roles of music mentioned

2 For my point of view, music is absolutely a

mean of entertaining Because music is like

medicine for us when the weather is bad and we

do not feel good If we have a problem, many of us

just turn on a good song to calm down and think

what to do next

- T calls Ss to go to the board and write the answers

- T checks and asks Ss where the answers appear in the passage

- T has Ss to do this last part at home then check in the next period
