Aims and Objectives: - Language content:To introduce the students some new words and structures relating to the topic Parts Of The Body - Language function: By the end of the lesson,the students will be able to tell some parts of the body. II . Preparation : Materials : Textbook, Pictures, Equipments : Cassette Player.+ tape. III. Teaching process : 1. Class control: 6 A: 2. Oral test : No 3. New lesson: A. Warm up : Greetings B. Presentation . 1. Listen and repeat. *.Presenta-tion of the new materials: Lead-in: -Has the students play the game Guessing Game -Writes a letter X on the board, saying that it is a part of the body and asks the students to guess what that is. Ex: Sts make a question: Does a person have two X? T :Yes. Sts:IsX long? Controlled-Practice: A1 -Asks the students to listen to A1 and check their guessing. -Gets the students to listen to A1 again and focus on the pronuciation. -Calls one student to read the text before the class -Corrects the studentsmistakes. A2 -Asks the students to use the structures to ask and answer about the parts of the body(in the picture on page 96) Calls some pairs to roleplay before the class. -Corrects their mistakes if necessary. 4.Free-Practice: * Guessing Game -Divides the class into two groups.One person in each group give an explanation and a question and another in the group must say the correct part.If which group makes more correct answers,it will get two marks and vice versa. Ex: 1) It is on the top of the body.What is it? 2) They are at the end of your legs.What are they? 3) It is betwwen your arms.What is it? 4) They are on your hands?What are they? -Corrects their mistakes if necessary. 4. Consolidation. -Asks one student to tell the content of the lesson about parts of the body. 5. Home work. Vocabulary: Big,Tall,Fat,Heavy,Strong,Small,Short,Thin,Light Structures: Review the structure: S + Is/Am/Are + Adj. II . Preparation. Materials : Textbook, Pictures, Cassette Player. III. Teaching process. 1. Class control: Attendence 6A : 2. Oral test: One Ss talk about parts of the body. The other does exer 1 (p 83) on the board. 3. New lesson : A- Warm up: T goes aroud the class and ask Ss about parts of the body. B- Presentation: I.Presenta-tion of the new materials: * Lead-in: -Asks the students play the game “Noughts And Crosses” Chest Head shoulder Feet Fingers hands Toes Arm legs -Introduces the lesson:”We are going to learn a lesson about describing parts of the body.Before the new lesson,I would like to introduce some new words.” 2. Controlled-Practice: A3 Listen and repeat. -Asks the students to listen to A3 and check their guessing. - Ss listen to the tape and guessing . -Gets the students to listen to A3 again and focus on the pronuciation. -Calls one student to read the sentences before the class -Corrects the students’mistakes. A4. Which pictrure? Listen and choose the right picture. -Asks the students to look at the pictures on page 98 and describe them. -Has them guess which pictures can appear in the tape. -Calls some students to present their ideas before the class -Has the students listen to the tape one time and choose the correct picture they hear. -Asks the students to listen to the tape once more and do the rest -Gets them to exchange their answers. -Calls some students to read their answers before the class -Corrects their mistakes if necessary. * Answers: 1 - d 2- c 3 - b 4 - a V.Free-Practice: -Asks the students to work in groups of 4 and practice asking and answering about themselves.
