Unit 2: Making arangements (6 lesson) Lesson 1: Getting started - Listen and read I. Aims: Practicing a conversation on the phone to understand the details and making similar conversations II. Procedure: 1, Warm up: Getting started: - Matching: Ss match each objects with its name on P.18 - Chatting: T asks: “When do you need these thing ?” + Give ss some clues: a, to write addresses and telephone numbers b, to send fax c, to make a phone call in the street d, to find someone’s telephone number e, to make phone calls anywhere you like f, to leave and take messanges + Example: When I am in the street and I want to make phone call but I don’t have a mobile phone, I need a public. 2, Presentation: - Set the scene: “Nga is going to see the movie Dream City .She invites Hoa to go with her ”. - Let ss listen and follow the dialogue is Hoa will go with Nga - Get ss to practice the dialogue in pairs, then answer comprehension questions (Listen and Read 2.
