Overview Vnet is the core bus of the CENTUM VP communication function Vnet is real time system control bus used to connect the component units: it main functions are to perform HIS-FCS control data communication and data equalization between HIS’s at high speed This special protocol (Vnet protocol) is mainly related to FCS The timing must be accurate Communication handled by CS3000/Centum VP Vnet protocol are:  Read/write of FCS data (FCS-FCS and HIS-FCS)  Broadcast of FCS messages (FCS-HIS)  Broadcast of HIS messages (HIS-HIS)  Time equalization  Communication for operating status Communication)protocol is used for communicating a large volume of data, file exchange and communication using a general-purpose interface Communication handed by General Protocol (TCP/IP) are:  Equalizing communication  Acquisition of status display data  Other station trend  “Download”, “IOM download” and “Tuning parameter save” in operation status display window  Recipe equalization specification Both Vnet and Ethernet are mandatory Ethernet is always used for communications in HIS-HIS If a failure occurs on Ethernet, communication not switch to Vnet (this is to protect the Communication and Open Communication Vnet/IP is designed as a duplexed network In Vnet/IP, a duplexed bus is configured with independent subnets of bus and bus If both buses are normal, bus is used for control communication, and bus is used for open communication If bus fails, control communication is performed using bus In this case, because open communication is also performed using bus 2, system, all data of the existing project should be deleted completely before restoring the project Use Window Explore to copy the backup data to the restore location in order to restore back up store CS3000 and Centum VP program, HIS setup, and other information A backup copy should be made together with a CS3000 and Centum VP backup The Registry is the centralized configuration database for Windows, as well as for applications The Registry stores information about tuning parameters, device configuration, and user preferences The registry to backup is : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\YOKOGAWA\CS3K Command Instead of using the Windows XP registry editor, the following command can be executed using the command line to output the registry to a text file without displaying anything on the screen Regedit.exe /e (output filename) reg (backup key name) Example: regedit.exe /e LMCS3K.reg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\YOKOGAWA\CS3K The project on FCS and downloading to the HISs Click Start -> Programs -> YOKOGAWA CENTUM -> Project Attribution Utility Register Trainvp as current project and exit Click Start -> Programs -> YOKOGWAWA CENTUM -> HIS Utility Check Activate HIS when you Logon and click OK Log-off the windows and log-in the windows again Start the FCS Login-in as ENGUSER Click on Window Call Menu and select Activate System View Select FCS0101 19.Click Load -> Download Project Common Section 20.Click Load -> Offline Download to FCS -> Download 21.Select HIS0164 -> Load -> Download to HIS 22.Repeat Step 12 for the
