Hardware Setup It is necessary to set domain and station numbers for the following switches before installing the software: • Vnet/IP interface card (VI701) • Field control station processor module (CP451) • Vnet Router (AVR10D) When the domain number and station number are correctly defined and the Unshielded Twisted Pair Cables (UTP) are properly connected, the SND and RCV lamps turn on at power-on If the RCV lamp turns on while the SND lamp does not, check the dip switch setting of the corresponding card YOKOGAWA VIETNAM CO.LTD Copyright © Yokogawa Electric Corporation SERVICE DEPARTMENT Vnet/IP Interface Card • RDY lamp This lamp illuminates to indicate that the card is working properly as the result of the periodic diagnosis • RCV lamp This lamp illuminates when a signal is received through Vnet/IP • SND lamp This lamp illuminates when a signal is sent through Vnet/IP • Ethernet connectors These connectors are used for connecting with the Layer2 Switch The connector Vnet/IP interface card (VI701) is installed in the expansion PCI slot of a general purpose personal computer (PC/AT compatible) The VI701 connects the computer to the Vnet/IP Installation Procedure: Set the station address of VI701 interface card Turn off the power of the PC For safety, remove the power plug from the power outlet Loosen the screws of the PCI slot cover and remove the slot cover Insert the VI701 interface card in the PCI slot and make sure that the card is inserted straightly in the slot Tighten the screws of the PCI slot cover so as to fix the VI701 card Remove Procedure: Turn off the power of the PC Disconnect the cables for BUS1 and BUS2 from the VI701 card For replacement of VI701 card, there is no need to disconnect the cables from the Layer2 Switch Connect the card with Layer2 Switch with the cables for BUS1 and BUS2 For this connection, there is no need to turn off the power of the Layer2 Switch Turn on the power of the PC Confirm that the RDY lamp on VI701 card is on Write the station address to the sticker that comes with the VI701 and stick it on the front of the computer or another obvious place YOKOGAWA VIETNAM CO.LTD Copyright © Yokogawa Electric Corporation SERVICE DEPARTMENT Remove the VI701 from the PCI slot Setting Vnet/IP Station Address – VI701 The station address of a Vnet/IP is defined by a combination of a domain number and a SERVICE DEPARTMENT Overview of License Management After assigning licenses, distribute the licenses to the stations At this point, the licenses that have been assigned to each station are distributed as follow:  Licenses assigned to license-assigned Stations Distributed from the license management station to the relevant license-assigned station  Licenses assigned to License Management Station Distributed from the license management station to itself  Licenses assigned to an FCS License assigned to an FCS are distributed to the HIS installed with system builders YOKOGAWA VIETNAM CO.LTD with maintenance privileges Start - select [All Programs] > [YOKOGAWA License], and right-click [License Manager] Select [Run as administrator] > License Manager starts From the menu bar, select [File] > [New] > [Project] The Create new license project dialog box appears Specify the following information: Project name: type a name for the System type: drop-down list, select a system product
