Unit 2: my home Lesson 1: Getting Started A look inside Class description: 30 sixth-grade students (Ss), 20 girls and 10 boys, Trung Vuong Lower Secondary School I, AIMS AND OBJECTIVES - By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - know some basic vocabulary about types of houses - use preposition of place - read for specific information about rooms and houses - understand the conversation II, TEACHING AIDS - Pictures, posters, cassette & tape III TEACHING STEPS Time Teacher’s activities mins Warm up -Have Ss work in groups -Get Ss to answer the questions -Give feedback Students’ activities Answer teacher’s questions Board & contents A WARM UP Questions T asks Ss: - Where is your house? - Is it big or small? - How many rooms are there? What are they? - Who you live with? - Do you love your home?
