A/ Famous places in Asia (A1)

I/ Objectives.

By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to know some famous places in Asia

II/ Language contents.

1, Vocabulary: The countries in Asia and capitals of them

2, Structures: The past simple and simple present tense

III/ Teaching aids.

- Make a plan

- Prepare a book, a tape, a cassette- player and some pictures of capital of Asian countries

IV/ Teaching produces.

@ Talk about Hoa by answering the question: What did Hoa get used to

do in the city?

- Can you name some countries by English?

in Asia?

@ Ask students to look at the postcard and the sentence in it:

Go to board and answer the teacher’s questions

Look at the picture in the book and notice the sentence:

Play the tape and ask students to name places that are in the tape

Play the tape again and name the places: Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Phnom Penh, Vientiane and Yangon
