Born: February,1947 in Thai Binh,Vietnam Best known as: the first Vietnamese citizen in space 4. Born: July, 1921 in Cambridge, Ohio Best known as: the oldest human ever to fly into space 5. Lucky number 6. Born: June, 1965 in Liaoning, Chinese Best known: the first Chinese in space - Teacher hang a poster with Armstrong’s picture under 6 numbers which contain 5 informations about 5 astronauts and a number is a “lucky number” on the board. - Teacher divides the class into 2 groups. → each group choose a number and have to give the name of person in that cue. -10 marks for each right answer, and a part of picture will be showed. Zero mark and no part of the picture will be showed for wrong answer. - 20 marks for lucky number - 30 marks for guessing correctly picture background - The winner will be the group with the highest mark. ▪Answer: 1. (Task 1 in the text book on page 174) → learners work in pairs - Teacher calls 4 learners to go to the blackboard to write down their answers. Answers: (1) Date of birth (2) Place of birth (3) Known as (4) Career (5) Quote - Teacher asks learners some features of a biography → learners answer Acceptable answers : Date of birth, place of birth, known as, career, achievements, quote, etc. - Teacher reminds learners to use suitable tenses of verb to write paragraph - Teacher asks learners to read Amstrong's biography again → work individually to write a paragraph about Neil Amstrong.
