Review the last period : - Ask Sts to retell the topic of the previous lesson- reading: Talking about popular T.V programme. - Call some Sts to answer the question: Which mass media do you know? - Lead Sts to new lesson: After previous lesson, you can name some mass media, today we will learn about the types of the mass media. And it is the topic of our lesson today. - Call some Sts to translate the topic into Vietnamese. - Retell the topic. - Ss call out some media. - Answer. 10’ 15’ 12’ Pre-speaking - Read aloud the instruction of task 1; call Sts to explain it into Vietnamese. - Ask Sts to work in pairs in 2’, then call some Sts to speak out their answers - If it is incorrect, ask the whole class to correct it. * The mass media includes: T.V, book, magazine, newspaper, internet, radio… - Vocabulary: Ask Sts to translate some new words into Vietnamese, explain if needed.
