Preparing day: period: Teaching day: week: UNIT13 :ACTIVITIVES AND SEASONS I.Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss can be able to talk about weather in the seasons by using temperature and season vocabulary, with “WH” questions. II.Language content: 1.Vocabulary: weather and seasons vocabulary. 2.Structures: What the weather like in……? -It’s ……… in the ………… . III-Teaching Method: - Communicative approach. -Listen and repeat. IV.Teaching aids: - Lesson plan, text book, pictures, color chalks… V.Procedure: LESSON 1:A1 ,A2. Teacher’s activities (time) Students’ activities Contents I-Warm up (5’) Gets ss to play the game “Shark attack” with the topic “ weather” or “Season” controls and feedbacks. II-Presentation (10’) Pre-teach vocabulary. Elicits vocabulary by pictures, example. Checks vocabulary by matching. Gets Ss to match the vocabulary. Feedbacks. Elicit the students to give the model sentence Write on the board Take part in the game. Listen, repeat and copy down. Close books and match on the board. IV-Production (12’) Stick the wordsquare on the board Devide class into 2 teams Get sts in each team to come to the board and write out the words they see as much as possible. Check and give feedback. V-Homework (3’) Writes the homework on the board and ask ss to copy into their notebooks. Listen and repeat Work in pairs Say the exchange out.
