Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to know about Mrs. Quyen’s vacation abroad, be provided amounts of helpful knowledge about some interesting places in America: Hawaii, New York, Chicago, Mount Rushmore, San Francisco and read fluently. B. Language contents: - Vocabulary: Volcano, lava, pour out, wharf, carve, valley. - Grammar: review the simple past tense and the past progressive tense. C. Teaching aids: - Posters, pictures, textbook, notebook. D. Techniques: - E. Time: 45’ F. Procedures: I. Warm up: (5’) Brainstorm Lead in: “Do you know some interesting places in the USA?
