Class 11D Lesson Plan THE POST OFFICE A. Reading I. Objectives By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to: - Develop such reading micro-skills as scanning for specific ideas and guessing meaning in context - Use the information they have read to discuss the topic II. Teaching aids Textbook, handouts, etc. III. Anticipated problems Students may have limited linguistic resources for discussion, so Teacher should be ready to assist them IV. Procedure: Stages Activities T & Ss activities I. Warm-Up: 5ms Network: Complete the network about some services of the post office  Answer keys: -Flower telegram service -Keep me occupied -Telephone& fax service -EMS -Mail &Pacel service -Phone cards&internet cards -Postal savings -T asks ss to work in group of 4 to complete the post office’s services. - Ss gather in group and then take part in the game. - T decides which group is the winner and lead in the lesson II.
