Although / though / even though + subject + verb In spite of (despite) + noun / pronoun / (this, that, what) or -ing ex: I didn’t get the job although I had all the necessary qualifications. (I…… despite my qualifications / in spite of my qualifications.) Although the traffic was bad, I arrived on time. (In spite of the traffic, I arrived on time.) I couldn’t sleep although I was very tired. (despite being very tired) 5. Communicate : - Complete these sentences with the conditional-concessive clauses Whatever - Whatever you do, I’ll always like you. - Keep calm, whatever happens.
