(3) Tom enjoys the party very much, doesn’t he? (4) The film is not very interesting, is it? (5) The boys are from Japan, aren’t they? (6) You have never seen this film before, have you? Ghi chú:    Qui tắc chung: Câu phát biểu ðuôi câu hỏi -Khẳng ñịnh -Phủ ñịnh -Phủ ñịnh -Khẳng ñịnh  Nếu ñộng từ câu phát biểu là ñộng từ thường thì ñuôi câu hỏi sẽ là + do/does (not): Hiện tại + did (not): Quá khứ  Nếu ñộng từ câu phát biểu là ñộng từ ñặc biệt thì ñuôi câu hỏi sẽ sử dụng ñộng từ ñặc biệt ñó. Ghi chú thêm:  Câu bắt ñầu bằng Let’s + V o thì ñuôi câu hỏi sẽ là: shall we? (7) Let’s go for a walk, shall we? (=Let us go for a walk, shall we?)  Những chủ từ như someone, everyone, everybody, no one, nobody sẽ ñược thay thế bằng ñại từ they trong ñuôi câu hỏi. (8) Someone called when Iwas out, didn’t they?  Những từ everything, something, nothing, this, that trong ñuôi câu hỏi sẽ ñược thay bằng ñại từ it. These, those sẽ ñược thay thế bằng “they”.
