Unit 3: AT HOME Lesson 3( B1-2 ) I . OBJECTIVES Help the students to count from number 20 to number 100 to count things.And kow how to change from singular nouns to flural nouns. II . LANGUAGE CONTENTS : - Grammar: Simple present tense : There is / There are + Noun ( singular and flural nouns ) - Vocabulary: Numbers and nouns. IV . TECHNIQUES:: Couting in class, groupwork, pairwork, ask and answer. III . TEACHING AIDS :: Posters page 35- 36 . V. PROCEDURES :: 1. Warm up :(5’)- Play game : Review numbers Counting 0  20 2. Check up :(5’) Write vocabulary and reflexive pronoun 3. New lesson:(35’) Teacher's activities Contents T + Pre teach: Vocab - Elicit the numbers from the students Unit 3: AT HOME Lesson 3( B1-2 ) - Ss read Vocab chorrally then individually - Checking the Vocab - What and Where T’s instruction check Ss understanding Ss play in groups A-B 2 .Practice - T gives the poster - Ask Ss to look at the poster then answer the questions -T ask and Ss answer Eg: Which is number fifty? S: (e” T: Which is number twenty? S: “b” T: Which is number seventy? S: “g” + Count the item in the classroom - Ask Ss to count the items in the classroom( board, door, window, desk, table, lamp, pen, pencil, ruler, student, teacher I Presentation ( 10’) Vocabulary - thirty: 30 - forty: 40 - fifty: 50 - sixty one: 61 - seventy six: 76 - eighty two: 82 - ninety nine: 99 - one hundred: 100 - one hundred and one: 101 II. Practice 1. Look at the poster and answer the questions a. 10 d 40 g.70 j.100 b.20 e.50 h.80 c.30 f.60 i.90 2. Count the item in the classroom. 10’ 20’ - Ss work in groups to do(4) - Then ask Ss to use the structure” There is / there are ” to count things in the classroom - T model s first and has Ss repeat - T write example statements on the board + Concept check - Meaning - Form, use - Pro - Ss work in pair Open pairs- closed pairs - Get Ss to repeat the way to form plural Nouns and the way to pronounce ending “s” - Ss answer - T: repeat + Dictation lists - T. read some words and has Ss write the words they have heard Desks, rulers, benches. Further pratice Listen and write them in the correct columns /s/ /z/ /z/ Desk Students Books Rulers Tables Doors Benches Couches Houses 5’ books, clocks, couches, doors, windows, houses, lamps” - Then Ss write them in the correct column. T guides Ss to do the homework Clocks lamps Window III. Homework 1. Learn by hear the Vocab 2. Do B 1,2 /P.21 ( exercise book) 3. .Do B 4 /P.18 (exercise notebook) 4.
