I Introduction

Iam the event director for the Cyber Show event company The goal of this study is to develop

a prom plan for students from all institutions in Ho Chi Minh City by examining the prom's marketing strategy, human resource requirements, and financial aspects The prom will take place in Van Thanh's tourist village The data for the prom is gathered by a group of students, and each report is written separately, with all data thoroughly studied The marketing strategy discusses the prom's marketing mix, while the human resources requirements analysis discusses the staff's duties and responsibilities Finally, financial details included the budget, cost during the period as well as the break-even point The study concludes with a summary of the investigation's principal conclusions The study will help increasing sales and scheduling the prom in the most efficient manner possible

a) Marketing Strategy

Location: Van Thanh restaurant

Justification: As shown in the graph below, 54,5% of respondents chose Van Thanh restaurant Also, the restaurant can accommodate 350 people, making it ideal for a prom I also contacted Van Thanh, they stated the restaurant has a stage and audio/visual equipment

time on weekends, increasing our consumer base and sales

Food service: Set party menu for a table of 10 people: Seafood soup, Palace Salad, Fried shrimp with green nuggets Butter chicken wings, Snakehead fish hot pot with cinnamon leaves — Vermicelli, Dessert: Coconut jelly Beer, Soft drinks, Water in Van Thanh service

Justification: Many students prefer buffet parties But Van Thanh does not serve buffet and if

we Buy beverages from a third party (not in Van Thanh) they will adds a significant cost, this will be very costly When we order the Van Thanh set party menu, they will also supply security guards and waitresses We'll save money and time

Entertainment service: Live party band, Dj party, Magic show and Comedy show

Justification: As shown in the survey graph below Party band is the best choice Then there's a

DJ party, magic show, and comedy performance at 27,3% The photo booth isn't included since

I don't think it'll be practical or effective now that everyone has a smartphone Also, hiring a photo booth is expensive, so I believe we can save money and use it on other things

2.Price: 900.000 VND for a ticket

Justification: The first priority is to sell tickets at a price that is both affordable and profitable According to the survey, many students prefer 300.000 to 500.000 VND After calculating all costs, I realized that price range is no longer possible So 900.000 is the price at which we can easily break even and achieve profits

3.Promotion

Create a Facebook page, cooperate other university (UEF, HUTECH, UEH) to advertise the

prom

Sales promotion: 5% off tickets for social media sharing and referring 5 people to the prom

collaborate with other university in order to promote our prom to all students Also, I suggest

we create a Facebook fanpage for prom questions According to the study, Facebook receives 72,7% of the votes, so I created our Facebook profile to promote our prom To encourage sales, I'd like to offer a 5% discount to customers who promote the prom on social media and recommend five friends

Justification: There will be two ways to buy tickets, online and offline, so anyone can buy tickets Ticket registration links will be promoted on Facebook The link will ask for name, school, address, and phone number The customer can either pay by credit card upfront, then wait for the shipper to deliver the ticket, or pay in cash when the shipper arrives Customers can purchase tickets directly from FTU, other university, Cyber Show or Van Thanh

Justification: According to the poll, 80% want a energetic prom It's possible to create an upbeat atmosphere with strong beat instruments like bass and electric guitar A romantic or classical prom can be achieved using soft instruments It will be like being at an art show with the abstract artworks on the walls Also, placing candles on the dining table adds to the romantic atmosphere

I think we should only use electric candles to avoid fires The balloons will be used to decorate the front gate We will ensure that the speakers, electrical board, and instruments are all in perfect working order

Justification: We need an event director to plan and execute the event Sale event to advise on prom equipment and ideas Tickets and videos require 2D and 3D graphic design The audio and video technician will be in charge of the prom's sound and lighting Security will be responsible for the security Receptionists will greet customers Medical personnel will be ready for any emergency Waitress will serve the food The accountant will calculate costs and revenue When asked "What type of entertainment would you like to see at this prom?” A live band is required, according to 45.5% of respondents Additionally, we require a DJ, a magician, and a comedian, as DJ parties are selected 27.3% of the time The Helpers will assist the director and MC, while the MC's primary responsibility will be to run the prom
