Vapor Heat Treatment (VHT)
Vapor Heat Treatment (VHT) is an innovative fresh fruit processing technology that utilizes vapor heat to eliminate insect larvae and harmful pests on the fruit's surface through rapid temperature changes This chemical-free method preserves the fruit's freshness while effectively preventing the spread of diseases and pests To ensure compliance with strict plant quarantine regulations, countries require that imported fruits and vegetables, such as papaya, mango, litchi, and paprika, meet international standards, particularly in regions free from pests like the oriental fruit fly (Bactrocera dorsalis) and the melon fly (Bactrocera cucurbitae).
The Heat Treatment System effectively disinfects fruits by utilizing high temperature and high humidity saturated vapor, eliminating harmful insects' eggs and larvae without the use of chemicals This innovative approach ensures that users can import and export a wide range of fruits with enhanced safety.

After 12 weeks of internship at Hoang Phat Fruit Company, although not long, the author had the opportunity to learn and gain valuable knowledge about a series of complex activities in a production processing enterprise, carried out by many factors such as human resources, technology, engineering, specialization, process, standards, management skills, operation Each activity contributes to creating a product to consumers Moreover, he has applied his ability to use English in the most effective way as well as many soft skills, knows how to flexibly handle related issues He improved his attitude towards his work and his work style However, there are still many goals he cannot achieve due to the nature of the work that requires more time for the specific contents of the production process, especially the coordination between departments within a company He realized that besides specialized knowledge, skills, attitude, discipline, compliance with the organization's rules, respect for people is also very important, to be able to coordinate problem solving These factors determine your success in your current job and in your future career

During an internship at Hoang Phat Fruit Company, several limitations were identified, prompting the author to propose strategic measures for improvement The company should establish partnerships with nearby farms to minimize transportation costs Additionally, the production and quality assurance departments must designate separate areas with clear warning signs to prevent fruit contamination during sorting and processing It is essential to provide comprehensive training for VHT machine operators, including English language skills, to enhance communication with foreign experts Implementing stamping machines in the packaging process will replace manual methods, reducing overtime for workers Finally, recruiting young workers is crucial for boosting overall productivity.
The Faculty of Foreign Languages has effectively enhanced students' foundational English skills while broadening their understanding of various fields, particularly in economics It is hoped that the faculty will facilitate numerous seminars that connect students with companies in the commerce sector, providing valuable insights into the recruitment needs for English-speaking graduates.
Through this valuable internship experience, the author recognized his strengths and weaknesses and aims to enhance his self-improvement moving forward He emphasizes the importance of being proactive, confident, and patient in a professional setting, while also striving to improve his communication skills, such as expressing his opinions and tackling challenges Additionally, he highlights the need for fostering positive teamwork and developing effective time management skills to enhance productivity Lastly, the author acknowledges the necessity of further practicing and refining his English language skills for better professional interactions.
