I INTRODUCTION

Hello teacher, my name is Tran Nguyen Diem Vi, I come from class A K10

of Dong Nai University This is a report of my field trip The purpose of the trip

is for us to better understand the industry we are studying as well as the necessary experiences after we graduate The subject "Professional Practice" helps students learn about reality at English teaching centers and businesses so that students can become familiar with the real working environment, discipline, organization, production process, export Grasp the necessary requirements to prepare for the final year internship Have the knowledge to study business English majors and serve them for future jobs when students graduate At the same time, it helps students practice some necessary skills such

as teamwork skills, communication skills, presentation skills, time management skills, organizational skills through extracurricular activities The trip lasts for 4 days and 3 nights starting from February 25 to February 28 The first place of the trip is Bien Hoa, where the school is located, and next place is Bao Loc which is known as a rich land, has strength in tea and is the capital of the silk industry in Vietnam and finally the place is called "the city thousands of flowers" or "land of cherry blossoms", Dalat It can be said that this trip is one

of the most fun and wonderful trips I have had Being with class A makes me very happy and I am sure, my classmates feel the same way with me The trip has a lot of interesting activities, like team buildings, chocolate factory visit, walking around Xuan Huong Lake and many other fun activities, which I will mention in the following section Now let me start the first activity

II THE OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY AND FOREIGN

LANGUAGE CENTER

1 Viet My group Language Centre

We went to VMG, an English facility located at E99 Vo Thi Sau route, Thong Nhat ward, Bien Hoa city Established in 2003, Viet My Education Group currently manages and owns the "Vietnam American English Training" System in Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang

2 Thuy Thuan Tourist Company

This is a well-known tourist area that has been formed and developed for about 11 years However, in the past, this place was the coffee factory of Thuy Thuan Da Lat Import-Export Co., Ltd This tourist area will officially come into operation in 2020

With a large area of nearly 4 hectares with beautiful mountain views When adding some highlights, this resort is even more beautiful It seems that the owner here wants to associate the tourist area with the Thuy Thuan coffee brand So this place has been a perfect combination of modern buildings with natural scenes

3 Scientific Research Institute of Highland

Scientific Research Institute of Highland officially operated in 1990 Through 29 years of construction and development, the biological institute has collected many rich and diverse skeletons and animal samples The Institute has brought the unique characteristics of Lam Dong province and the Central Highlands region

Gallery Chocolate is located on the ground floor of the Museum of Biology with spaces created by colors, shapes and special flavors of many products of Chocotea - Da Lat It is a space to enjoy chocolate to feel the taste of pure chocolate; space to introduce and sell chocolate products, visitors can feel the diversity, richness and difference from chocolate shaping to flavor and color; space to display ingredients to make chocolate (cocoa fruit, cocoa beans, cocoa tree)

4 Sunfood Company

After more than 4 years of establishment, Sunfood Company has made a breakthrough in linking the production of VietGAP Dalat vegetables with a closed input - output process Currently, the cooperative is associated with more than 121 members who are production organizations and individuals The current product source of the cooperative is currently supplying 200 associate shops to produce and distribute exclusively Da Lat fruit and vegetable brands and regional specialties in over 35 provinces

Sunfood Company has developed a farm system, built a model of vegetable production according to VietGAP standards with a total cultivation area of more than 100 hectares in order to provide customers with clean vegetables and safe foods, contributing to the preservation of food safety

Currently, Sunfood Company has gathered all groups of hydroponic vegetables, baby vegetables, Dalat specialties, Da Lat fruits and flowers with more than 100 different products All these products are manufactured according to VietGAP standards, products meet food hygiene and safety standards, have traceability labels and are insured for consumers

III ACTIVITIES OF THE FIELD TRIP

1 Team building

The purpose of team building was all about human interaction and communication, which helps us get to know one other and connect with them

We not only having fun but also learn more about working in a group, every single activity was designed to bring everyone together Games aimed at developing teamwork and cooperation skills under the guidance of team leader,

Mr Nguyen Van Nam Many mini games are held, one of which being "the Logan game," in which I took part In this game, you must hold a spoon with a logan on it in your mouth and you have to make sure to get the logan into the mouth of another player, who must then chew it and spit out the logan seed into

a cup, and then the judge will give a score based on the amount of logan seeds present in the cup Unfortunately, our team did not have the most seeds, thus our score was the closest to the last The following game called “passing eggs”,

2 Camp Fire

The second activity after dinner called "The Campfire Games," Card activities around the campfire review the traditions of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, during the campfire event, there were activities such as dancing and singing around the campfire, a culinary contest and a Barbecue party to help students have an evening together to chat, confide and understand each other, thereby adding love and solidarity in the class, helping each other in learning and making progress together

3 Fashion and dancing show around the fire

In the night of campfire activities, each class will perform dance and sing together around the fire The tunes and dances of the classes were all so wonderful and beautiful and wonderful that the judges found it extremely difficult to mark and announce the awards Collective dancing and singing is a very necessary content in all human activities, it is also a very necessary content

in all activities to bring people together

4 Cooking contest

Another game in the “Camp Game” series that I participate in is the

“Cooking Contest” This game requires all the ingredients to be prepared a day

in advance, so I'll rank it as the hardest to play However, turning the ingredients into something delicious is another matter Our group decided to choose barbecue as the main course for the competition because we were assigned to be in charge of the meat dish We had to improvise and hope that at least the thing was edible, given our lack of information on the manufacturing process The allotted time was extremely limited as we had to constantly check the eggs and do our best to put them on the plate, which was extremely stressful However, the end result was much better than we expected, my class came in second place in the competition This surprised the whole class, and everyone burst into laughter Without a doubt, it was one of the most memorable moments of the entire field trip After finishing the “Cooking Competition”, we went back to our room to rest and prepare for an equally fun activity the next morning

1 Walking

The activity in the morning I like most was “Walking around Xuan Huong Lake”, this was the most exhausting of all the activities We had walked around Xuan Huong Lake at 6AM and while we only had to travel half of the lake to reach Lam Vien Square, which was only around 3 kilometers, it was still a long trek for most of us We arrived at the finish line to find that all of the other groups had already arrived, unluckily we were scheduled to be the last group to complete the track.

IV EATING AND DRINKING PLACES CHECKED IN

During our free time on the trip, we discovered interesting places in Da Lat

to eat and drink and each of them always left a deep impression on each of us

1 Lang Vu Thi coffee

The cafe located on the top of the hill has a panoramic view of the Valley of the Lights and a very romantic corner of the city Sitting at any corner at the restaurant, visitors can easily feel the poetic scenery, white clouds floating or the mountains and forests in the distance In particular, Lang Vu Thi coffee is also a very beautiful place to watch the sunset in Da Lat, after watching the sunset, visitors can enjoy a cup of hot coffee

2 Puppy Farm

About 8km from the center of Da Lat City, Puppy Farm Dalat is a great space for those who like to have fun with super cute "four-legged friends" Not only that, there is also a strawberry garden, a flower garden with many extreme virtual living angles Puppy Farm is considered as one of the most worthy tourist destinations in Da Lat and it also has specialty drinks of Dalat such as butter cream, soy milk…

3 Review of the best one

Although the above places all made a good impression on me, but puppy farm is the place that left me the most impression because not only are there cheap and delicious drinks, but the space here is extremely wonderful with the environment Large flower fields with many beautiful angles to take pictures, rare dog breeds are extremely cute and especially I can visit the high-tech strawberry garden here

V LESSON LEARNED

1 Benefits of the field trip

The fieldtrip to Da Lat is not only just to have fun but also to get to know more about working in a group of people, all of the activities are meant to connect everybody together From a meal to a walk around Xuan Huong Lake, from a visit to Da Lat Market to a small talk late at night in the hotel, each of those memorable moments bonds us together Difficulties did appear, however we had conquered them with the help of everybody’s hands

2 Strong points and weak points

Throughout the fieldtrip, the thing I deeply impressed myself the most was

my extrovert, my eager to help and my sociability I was willing to do it and ready to take any risk in order to establish the utmost unforgettable memories for my team members Another strong point I realized that I have the courage

to prove myself, the responsibility and being punctual in a team

On the other hand, the number of weaknesses I have is still on the

remarkable side Equipping with the least knowledge about places and

cultures prevents me from fully making out decisions among the trip This affected my performance in leading the team due to the fact that sometimes I did not know what to do or to tell my friends in order to provide them the information they need Forgetting to check the announcement is a huge

disadvantage I obtain, even though it was less intense during the trip but it is

still an exceptional hinder within my path to be successful Another problem

I stumbled upon myself within the journey was my lack of fashion which my teachers had referred as a disrespect toward the viewers sometimes

3 Lessons you learned from the field trip

After the journey, I have learnt a lot from teachers, group members, tour guide, classmates, friends about places, events, lifestyles, cultures, stories but moreover, I have learnt about mutual trust Trusting the others and trusting yourself, believe that you can do anything together is what impacts

me the most after the field trip

4 Recommendation

My only recommendation for the trip to Dalat is to have more personal times for individual so they can have more fun together
