Il INTERNSHIP RESULTS:
3.1 Summary of activities during the internship:
During my internship, I taught and tutored English to nearly 50 students ranging in age from 16 to 50, with half of them being international students studying online from various countries around the world I also worked together with academic staff to organize student events such as "Read Aloud Camp," which pairs students from various courses to read and share their favorite English stories I was also involved with "Graduation Day,” which is held for students who finish their courses and achieve the desired academic results Furthermore, I took part in the monthly review of the learning materials, providing feedback on what should be changed or added
11
Trang 13be interested in teaching When compared to other teachers with prior experience, such as
those from Hanoi National University of Education, this at first raised some concerns
among students about my ability to teach effectively Initially, my instruction was not
delivered in a clear, concise, and understandable manner because I was having difficulty
guiding and instructing students in classes As a result, some students were unsure of their English level or the knowledge they gained after class before I improved
Furthermore, some of my issues were the result of my own shortcomings The first problem
is a lack of practical knowledge, which includes communication abilities and work experience Because attending university is quite different from working in an office, I had difficulty at first adjusting my appearance and behaviors, from my attitude to my tone of voice, to be more professional and appropriate for the job requirements Another issue I encountered during my internship was that I could not find a way to balance my time between work and study, which put me under a lot of stress early on because I couldn't keep up with the workload
b Solutions
For all of my problems, I defined the main difficulties or mistakes and discovered solutions
to the problems I encountered during my internship, and they show significant positive progress in my growth
