WEEK 1: THEME 1: YOU AND ME. Unit 1: My homeland. Lesson 1: Section A.(1,2,3) (1). Ngày dạy:27/ 8/ 2009. I.Mục tiêu: - Học sinh có thể hỏi và trả lời câu hỏi từ đâu đến. - Rèn luyện kĩ năng nói. II.Teaching methods: - Communitives: - Techniques: + Ask and answer. + Work in pairs, in groups and individually. III.Teaching aids: - T’s and Ss’ book. - Pictures of some flags. A.Warm up: - T uses a picture in the textbook then asks some questions. + Who are they? + What’re their nationalities? B.Presentation: - Giving introduction of the text. .Pre- teach: Teaching vocabulary. + Singapore: (Picture). + America: “ + England: “ + Vietnam: “ - T writes a word on the board, read and asks Ss to repeat in chorus, then continues with the others. - Get Ss to read all the newwords in chorus then individually. + Checking vocabulary :Matching: Words and pictures. -T reads the dialogue first. 1 - Ask Ss to repeat in chorus. - Let Ss do pairwork to practice the dialogue. - Call some pairs to read it aloud, others remark. +Presenting new structure: - T gives some situations and asks Ss to choose the expression of asking and telling about where Sb is from. I.Mục tiêu: - Hs nghe hiểu các tình huống hỏi và trả lời câu hỏi từ đâu đến và đánh dấu các tranh được nói tới, luyện tập cách phát âm các con chữ” wh” trong các từ “where” và” who”, cụm phụ âm”fr” trong các từ “from”và “friend”và phân biệt cách phát âm khác nhau của cùng con chữ “e” trong các từ “ “England“ “America”, hoàn thành các câu còn thiếu chỉ tên và từ đâu tới, thông qua trò chơi, Hs nghe và chỉ tên, nơi đến của các nhân vật. - Rèn luyện kĩ năng nghe và viết.
