You said you were travelling down by train - it’s easy to get to my house from the station As you leave the exit, there’s a bus stop immediately in front of you - you need the number 4 It’s about a ten-minute journey Ask the driver to tell you when you’ve reached the library If you call me when you’re on the way, I’ll meet you there
I know you’re into music and there’s a great band playing at a local venue on Saturday so I thought we could go and see that But feel free to tell me if you’d like to do something else I should warn you it’s getting a little cold now so you’d better bring some warm clothes to wear and something to stay dry in case it rains

Trang 154Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing with regards to a recent visit my wife and I paid to your restaurant and some of the problems we faced
Despite the fact that I had previously phoned your restaurant to book a table for two at 7.00 p.m on 11th August, when we arrived, I was surprised to be told there was no reservation in our name Fortunately, there was one table free and although this was right by the door, we accepted it as the only option We were each given menus but were told that several of the dishes were unavailable The few that were left were not meals that we would normally order, but as we had no choice in the matter, we chose from the limited dishes remaining
We then had to wait for almost one hour for our meals to be served We pointed this out to the waiter, who informed us that there was a new chef on duty, that things were a little slower than normal, and that we should be patient When our meals arrived, they were both very disappointing My steak was incredibly tough and the chicken my wife had ordered was over-cooked To make matters worse, after we complained, the waiter simply said his shift was over and we would need to speak to someone else
As you can imagine, this was not the kind of evening we had planned Given the poor service and food, I am requesting a full refund of the costs of our meals I would also suggest you speak to your staff and instruct them to be more sympathetic to your customers and try to be more helpful in future
