to be included in the list of 50 most powerful businesswomen in Asia by Forbes magazine Ms Mai Kieu Lien was born in France and graduated as an engineer in dairy processing in Russia

In 1976, after graduating, Ms Mai Kieu Lien did not stay in her native country to work but returned to Vietnam to become a female engineer in the Southern Milk and Coffee Company - the predecessor of Vinamilk With her intelligent and inquisitive nature, she knew how to effectively apply the knowledge she had learned with her own creativity From the position of an engineer, she was gradually assigned to the position of Shift Head, then Deputy Technical Director, Deputy General Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors after this state-owned enterprise was equitized

in the past 3 years to continue to hold its position as the number one food company in Vietnam Among private enterprises, Vinamilk has continuously been in the top 5 enterprises with the largest revenue since 2008 until now

One of Vinamilk's success stories during its development is that the company has been fortunate to have leaders with a heart, vision and excellent leadership skills The most typical of them is Ms Mai Kieu Lien - CEO of the company since 1992 - who was named the chief architect for the achievements that Vinamilk has achieved since the renovation period
