in fast moving consumer goods industry
This thesis applies value chain stream mapping (VSM) tool and value chain analysis tool to focus on improving supply chain performance in terms of lead time and cost After improvement project was implemented at MKD South copacking RSHUDWLRQWKHUHVXOW¶VSURMHFWLVFRSDFNLQJOHDGWLPHZDVUHGXFHGDQGDOVRcopacking cost was reduced 26.1% compare to before the improvement In addition, improvement idea apply the same for MKD North copacking operation, copacking performance expected result, that the lead time will be reduced 13.5% and copacking cost will be reduced cost 25.6% compared to the present
As such, MKD South supply chain perfermance has increased in terms of cost and lead time MKD North supply chain is similar to operation mode with South supply chain So improvement idea apply the same for MKD North copacking operation will be the same result
