1 INTRODUCTION

1.1 Reasons for choosing the topic

With the perspective of teaching: Engaging learners; The learner is thesubject of the activities; Learners are experienced and discovered; Learners areformed and develop capacity, requiring teachers to take measures to fulfillEnglish objectives, in order to improve the quality of teaching, create excitementand promote positivity, active creativity of students English is one of thesubjects that plays an important role in the high school program Learning thesubject according to the English curriculum (Global Success) will easily helpstudents form and develop life skills, which is a premise for the formation ofqualities (patriotism, compassion, hard work, honesty, responsibility) andcompetence (general competence, scientific competence) according to theorientation of the new GDPTPA.

Currently, the issue of raising the sense of responsibility for oneself, family and society has been and is being concerned by many people However,it is important for students to be aware of what they must do for themselves, their families and society But in fact, some students not only neglect theirstudies, but also regularly avoid and complain about their tasks, miss deadlines, violate discipline and even blame others

So far, we have paid much attention to what families, schools and societyshould do for children However, it is important for students to be aware of whatthey have to do for themselves, their families, and society In other words, students must be responsible for themselves, their families and society But infact, some students not only neglect their studies, but also regularly avoid andcomplain about their duties, miss deadlines, violate discipline and even blame

As an English teacher, I personally noticed that some teachers teachtheoretically with little practical application In addition, most students, parentsand teachers mainly focus on the knowledge and grades achieved by studentsbut pay little attention to educating them about their sense of responsibilities.Teachers also "abuse" some methods

In the process of using teaching methods, teachers also attach importanceto the function of knowledge transmission of teaching methods, so they oftenuse teaching methods in the direction of informing, listing, leaning towards theaspect of knowledge reproduction In class, students mainly have to listen tolectures, copy lessons continuously, memorize machines without promotingpositivity in the process learn Students are less attracted and encouraged to beinterested, self-consciously study, causing learning boredom, dropping out ofschool in some weak academic departments One question is how to teachstudents a sense of responsibility when teachers' teaching methods mainly focuson language skills That means we To enhance students' sense of responsibilitiesthrough the teaching of language knowledge and skills.

As we all know, the new English textbook 10 contains many interesting, easy topics related to real life and responsibilities of students It is a pity, if

teachers only teach knowledge and skills without taking advantage to raisestudents' sense of responsibilities to themselves, their families and society Lastbut not least, the author have integrated a number of activities to raise students'sense of responsibilities towards themselves, their families and society intosome lessons when teaching English in different grade 10 at Tinh Gia HighSchool The effectiveness of such activities encourages us to share this teachingexperience with other colleagues, hoping to receive more input from them. Therefore, I thought that some activities to raise students' sense of responsibilitytowards themselves, their families and society should be integrated into somelessons when teaching English in classes 10B5 Tinh Gia 4 High School For the

modern knowledge and know how to apply that knowledge in life, it is veryimportant to guide students to have a sense of responsibility for themselves, their families and society Education Law, in Article 24.2 reads ''Generaleducation must promote the positivity, self-discipline, initiative and creativity ofHS; suitable to the characteristics of each class or subject; fostering self-studymethods, practicing skills to apply knowledge into practice, affecting emotions, bringing joy fun and excitement for students"

Also according to the 2005 Law on Education (Article 5) stipulates

that "Educational methods must promote the activeness, self-discipline,initiative, thinking and creativity of learners; fostering learners' learningcapacity, practice ability, passion for learning and the will to rise".

As a requirement of innovating teaching methods, teachers need to

apply appropriate teaching methods to bring joy and excitement to students, thereby promoting the positive self-discipline of students.

English teaching in general needs to ensure educational principles, theseare guiding theses, basic regulations and requirements that teachers need tocomply with to bring the highest efficiency in the teaching process Raising thesense of responsibility of oneself, family and society, integrating a number ofactivities into English lessons in accordance with each content of knowledge hasbeen based on educational principles Each subject has its own characteristics interms of content For English, it is a subject with extensive knowledge contentwith many difficult, dry and abstract contents So how to have an English lessonthat becomes lively, close to reality, creates excitement for students to help themabsorb lessons in a gentle, effective way and is associated with a sense ofresponsibility of themselves, their families and society.

The above results show that: Most students do not have a sense ofresponsibility for themselves, their families and society Interest in Englishsubjects is still very little, so In order to help students be aware, active, creativeand interested in the subject and have a sense of responsibility for themselves, their families and society, I myself propose specific measures as follows:

2.3 Solutions to the research issue

2.3.1 Measure 1: Raise the sense of responsibility for yourself, your family and society to integrate into English lessons to introduce lessons

Teaching is a process That process starts from designing, compiling andgrading In particular, the compilation of the opening will play a huge role. Therefore, when I introduce new lessons, I introduce them in a short, conciseand highly general way and arouse interest for students Therefore, raising thesense of responsibility to yourself, your family and society in introducing thelesson will have a great effect on the cognitive orientation of students.

When I want to let students know about the new vocabulary in Unit 1:Family Life, I assign it to students to find pictures that match the vocabulary Iprovide to students, thereby making it easier for 10th graders to learn new wordsin English 10.

Example: English Vocabulary 10 Unit 1: Family Life

To make the lesson more lively and engaging, I diversified the methods inthis subject The diversification of methods manifests itself in the need for teachers to know how to organize appropriate learning activities and engage students in class The key knowledge in the article is illustrated with specific activities and images Midlife will often make students more inculcated In

teaching new knowledge, I am always creative in teaching methods that promotethe initiative, positivity and self-discipline of learning birth Focus on training thinking methods, creating confidence, excitement, confident attitude in learning I have combined many different methods and forms to create

atmosphere excited for students such as: assign tasks to each individual or do it in groups or groups game play function Students discuss, choose, then express their opinions to inculcate the content of the lesson.
