PART 2: DESCRIPTION OF STUDENT’S PRACTICE 2.1 The Work Practice

NNR Vietnam is open from Monday to Friday The working time is from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm Practicum time at the NNR Vietnam begins from October

an HR cum Administrator position at NNR Vietnam's head office in Ho Chi Minh City, known as NNR Ho Chi Minh Office

The NNR Ho Chi Minh office has 60 staff includes sales, operation, accounting, HR cum Admin, and logistics

The HR cum Admin department has 07 staff, they include 02 drivers, 01 cleaner, 01 IT, and 03 HR cum Admin They manage all HR and admin tasks for all NNR offices in Vietnam

2.2 Detailed Job Description

THE FIRST WEEK

I went to work at NNR Vietnam's head office in Ho Chi Minh City from Monday to Friday, working time from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM

THE SECOND WEEK

Studying about the Admin task includes: Make office expense payments (office rental, internet & telephone fee, parking fee, electric fee, courier fee)

Studying about the HR task includes: Training the newbie

Manage the timing record, annual leaves every month

Manage the labor contract, probation contact, employee data

Input employee data and manage employee documents

Understanding ways to manage employee information and basic labor knowledge must to known when we go to work

This week, I learned much knowledge related to labor law and understood that we need to build up a data system to save timing, and labor when working

Studying about the HR task includes: Recruitment: job posting, CV screening, interview bookings, phone interviewing

Update applicant tracking sheets Organize internal events: monthly birthday, and quarterly parties, year-end parties, company trips, and family day

Know the procedure to prepare/arrange for the interview and how to connect with the candidate

After the fifth week of practice at the HR cum Admin department, I learned how to manage the interview meeting and what kind of tasks need to prepare before the meeting I learned to plan the party to connect all staff I felt very happy to join the birthday party and had the opportunity to communicate with another department

In the last week, I got acquainted with the comprehension and benefits of the company I had a meeting review with a leader who trained me during the internship period, on my weaknesses and strengths in my knowledge, and how to improve my skills After six weeks of the internship, I gained helpful knowledge and valuable experience that I accumulated when starting a new job

PART 3: PERSONAL EXPERIENCE FROM INTERNSHIP 3.1 Personal Advantages and Disadvantages

Thanks to the staff's enthusiasm for help and training, I was not only able to

adapt to work faster, but also achieve higher efficiency in work during my internship period at the NNR Vietnam Moreover, I also had the opportunity to communicate with foreigner staff in the company to improve my English skills

On the other hand, there are also several disadvantages that at first I was not familiar with the job, my knowledge was not yet stable, the trainer was dedicated to helping And one more drawback that I have to improve is my listening I was not familiar with the pronunciation of foreign staff because they came from different countries, so when communicating, I had to repeat many times However, this experience has helped me learn more from my mistakes

3.2 Personal Experience from The Internship

Completing an internship has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me Firstly, it provided me with the opportunity to develop and enhance my skills in a practical setting I was able to apply the knowledge I acquired in my academic studies to real-world scenarios, which greatly boosted my confidence and competence Additionally, the internship allowed me to establish valuable connections within the industry I had the chance to network with professionals and gain insights into different career paths Moreover, the internship offered me a glimpse into the daily operations of a company, helping me gain a deeper understanding of the field I am passionate about Overall, the internship has been instrumental in my personal growth and has set me on a path toward future success

While teaching, the university should combine theory and practice because when you work, it requires experience more than theory, the university should update technology to adapt to the lesson I as well as English students think that listening skill is the most difficult skill of the four English skills Therefore, I hope this listening skill will be practiced more and it is necessary to have a chance to listening skills or recruit foreign teachers to improve listening skills

clubs for students On these occasions, students can study more experiences of teachers and other students to help them orient their studying goals
