Logistics services have extremely important meaning in the overall structure of the national economy We can list variety of the Logistics’ benefits that directly impact to the economy Firstly, it helps to link all means of transport to facilitate the circulation and distribution of goods in a smooth, accurate and safe way Secondly, Logistics meets the increasing demand for commercial exchanges between regions of the country and it can expand cross-border flows of goods, from which goods will be available in various markets and reach the consumers quickly and promptly Besides, Logistics also plays a role in the distribution of manufacturing industries appropriately to ensure the balance and sustainable growth of the entire national economy Therefore, due to its mentioned advantages, Logistics service is believed to have such an effect to our society In contrast, without Logistics, our daily economic and production activities will be expected to be more difficult and stagnate According to Vietnam Logistics Business Association (VLA), in recent years, the growth rate of the logistics industry in Vietnam has reached about 14%-16% with a scale of about 40-42 billion USD per year This proves that Logistics is one of the fastest growing and most stable service industries in Vietnam nowadays Besides, Vietnam is believed to have many potential opportunities for growth and deep integration in the logistics arena However, in fact, Vietnam's logistics businesses still face many challenges as well as difficulties and barriers (scale of operation, capital, human resources ) and those problems are not easy to deal with, so our government and enterprises need to establish logical policies regarding the improvement of this service industry in Vietnam in order to make us peak at high position in global Logistics arena We are sophomores studying FIATA at Ton Duc Thang University and to help us further understand about how this service industry works, we have made a Costs 2.3.1 From Spain to Vietnam Based on three flows of logistics and the term of Incoterm, we suggest the costs of the shipment from Spain to Vietnam Firstly, when the cargoes come to Barcelona Airport, it has the costs of Bill and THC and X-ray, is about 45 Euro and 0,93 Euro per kilogram Next, to transport from Barcelona Airport to Tan Son Nhat Airport, it has the costs of Air Freight, Fuel and Security, is 2.1, 0.013 and 0.07 Euro per kilogram respectively When the cargoes come to the Tan Son Nhat Airport, it has the costs of D/O is Euro, THC, X – ray, Customs and Delivery Finally, we have the handle cost is 545 VND per kilogram So, the total cost is 173.432.203 VND 22 STT NAME AMOUNT UNITS Bill 45 Euro THC & X – ray 0,93 Euro/kg Air Freight 2,1 Euro/kg Fuel 0,013 Euro/kg 1.000 VNĐ/kg Delivery 1.986 VND/kg Handle 545 VNĐ/kg 23 TOTAL 71.327.500 VND 2.4 Timelapse Based on the best requirement for transportation, we suggest the timelapse for delivering the HIPRA Vaccines  From Spain to Vietnam Day 1: 01:00 – The refrigerated truck arrives to the HIPRA Company in Spain 03:00 – The cargoes are deliveried from Warehouse to Terminal – T1 of Barcelona Airport 05:00 – The truck comes to Barcelona Airport 07:00 – The airplane starts from Barcelona Airport to come to CDG 08:55 – The airplane comes to the Charles – de – Gaulle Airport (CDG) 13:10 – The airplane starts from CDG to come to Tan Son Nhat Airport Day 2: 06:25 – The airplane comes to the Tan Son Nhat Airport and the refrigerated truck comes to Airport 08:25 – The Cargoes are loaded from Terminal to the truck 10:00 – The truck comes to Binh Duong Warehouse  From HCMC to Hanoi 5:30 – The refrigerated truck arrives to the HIPRA Warehouse in Binh Duong 7:30 – The cargoes are deliveried from Warehouse Bai Airport 16:35 – The cargoes are loaded from Terminal to the truck 18:30 – The truck comes to Hanoi Warehouse 24 CHAPTER 3: THEIR LOGISTICS OPERATIONS DRAWBACKS AND SOLUTIONS While there are many benefits of their logistics operations, we also realize that there are still some disadvantages happened in shipping process As the freight forwarder who take responsibility of taking care for safety of products when transporting from departure position to destination, the risk of damage to goods is a significant concern Now, let’s take a closer look at several common drawbacks that might directly influence the quality of vaccines 3.1 The airline annouce a flight delay in the last minute due to bad weather The situation is that the vaccines is kept in warehouse of airport with inappropriate condition and it might make major damage if this delayed status take longer Figure 12 The flight is delayed  Temporary solution Once the customs procedure is complete, the freight has already been in SCSC The last thing to is wait to load up the aircraft In case there is notice of delay, the freight will stay in SCSC, yet SCSC temperature is just cool So, to maintain the conditional temperature, preparing times the amount of refrigerant gel packs should be the best solution Figure 13 Refrigerant gel ice pack  Permanent solution Besides, we suggest some temporary solutions including updating the weather forcast based on departure time (date) for scheduling delivery plans to limit and rebook the next available flight if in a tense situation 3.2 Broken parcel The second drawback is that during freight from Spain to Vietnam, the styrofoam box which we put the vaccine into can be broken and we not know if it can affect the quality of the goods because we must keep the scene preserved in the airport’s warehouse These two pictures refer to real case about broken parcel during transporting to destination 26  Temporary solution: Firstly, we need to make the Cargo Irregularly Report to comfirm the condition of the cargoes Next, we need call HIPRA Hanoi to contact with Insurrance Figure 14 Broken parcel Figure 15 Cargo Irregularly Report 27  Permanent solution: We - freight forwarders need to give any goods up we may cost our permanent solution which is effective in our opinion is pack the inner (styrofoam) box into the outer (carton) box Figure 16 Carton box 28 CHAPTER 4: VALUE FROM SOLUTIONS AND ITS IMPACT 4.1 Value from solution Speaking of refrigerant gel packs, always preparing them times more for the worst cases does cost HIPRA some money However, the cost of damages that can be caused will be cut off significantly Moreover, the cost of refrigerant gel packs is massively less than air freight and the whole freight itself 4.2 Value from solution With the carton box outside the styrofoam, our goods will be protected absolutely, we will not be worried about the possibility of breaking, create a sense of peace of mind Besides, we can create trust for customers about thoughtful and thorough service From that, the reputation of our company is increased and we attract more customers 4.3 Value from solution Not only can the goods be delivered regularly, no shortage of goods, but also build a reputation for our service because we have solutions for transporting during the epidemic, meet the needs of customers and create confidence for customers 29 CONCLUSION In the rapidly growing veterinary pharmaceutical market, HIPRA is one of the leading companies in this field And that prompted us to start researching on this company, after researching, we got clearance understanding about the company, their logistics flows, we also find out drawbacks in their operations as well as receving great value from solutions and how they work Making this report is our honor, which enhance our knowledge about logistics service and provide us career orientation in the future 30 REFERENCES Hipra, “About the Reference in Prevention for Animal
