that most of you only sometimes reflect upon class readings Could you possibly give me the reasons for this? How you your reading reflection? By writing them down, speaking or using some kind of body language, picture, etc.? And why’s that? It is learnt from the questionnaire that you more text-to-self and text-to-world connections than text-to-text connection? Could you explain the reasons? (Handout 1) What you are having in your hands is some reasons for the importance of reading reflection to language learning To what extent you agree or disagree with the reasons? In the questionnaire, many of you did write “It is a waste of time to think and look up in the dictionary when I reading reflection.” What you mean by that? Why the writer said that English is more genuinely universal than Chinese? Or why didn’t he use the word as “in fact”, “clearly”, “indeed” instead of “genuinely”?
