Intership is a great opportunity for me to gain more experience and useful know ledge During that time, I was exposed to a new waking envieonment and interacted with many people and leaned a lot from them

In today’s integration trend, foreign investors will come to do business inVietnam in the next few years English has become an indispensable language inhuman communication and business activities So, parents want their children tolearn English early to help them learn naturally, hear and speak correctly, developbetter language skills and brain thinking Therefore, the Sunshine English Centerhas created a suitable English learning environment for children and adults Alearning program designed specifically for the child’s age, can help childrenpractice English through games and pictures

The purpose of this internship report is introducing about the English Centerand activities while I was there First of all, I introduce the backgroundinformation of Sunshine English Center Next, I describe my work during 8weeks of practicing During the practice, I faced many difficulties and challengesand I always try to overcome them In conclusion, I will give some suggestion tothe internship company and An Giang University

I Sunshine English Center introduction:

1 Introduction:

Established in 2015, to train talents for the country'sindustrialization and modernization Sunshine English LanguageCenter always takes teaching quality as a guideline for activities.Sunshine English Center teaches all levels from English forkindergarten, English for children, English for teenagers, Englishfor communication to key training courses such as TOEIC, TOEFL,and IELTS

It fosters foreign languages for cadres, civil servants and, publicemployees of units wishing to serve the work

The Center expands association and cooperation with units withfunctions of foreign language teaching, creating conditions topromote the growing movement of foreign language teaching andlearning.

II Area of operations:

Sunshine Language Center has the function of training andfostering foreign language knowledge for learners in many formsaccording to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Trainingsuch as English for children, communication and conversation English;Foreign language certificates at level A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 according tothe 6-level language proficiency framework applicable in Vietnam andinternational foreign language certificates such as TOEIC, TOEFL andIELTS

The center's learning forms are always diversified, flexible, andhighly social, to contribute to improving people's knowledge, andforeign language application skills for learners At the same time, itmeets the needs of improving the quality of human resources for thecause of industrialization and modernization of the country,contributing to the construction, renewal and socio-economicdevelopment of the locality

III Framework of organization:

The current staff of the Sunshine English Center has 7 people For eachspecific activity, the center has a team of professional, creative, andenthusiastic staff Headed by the director who directly manages allactivities of the center, decides the development strategy of the center,followed by the general manager and the foreign language leader

Functions of department: looking at the Center organizational

structure, it can be seen that the management organization apparatus isrelatively simple, unified, and closely related to each other

Director: is the person with the highest authority who holds full

power to decide and is responsible for the entire operation of thecenter The committees are responsible for assisting the director

in developing the operational plan and strategy and are directlyresponsible for the work of the center

General manager department: is the department is in charge

of training management, office administration and finance andaccounting, and the library's work of the center Besides, thedepartment is also in charge of organizing courses, registeringfor each course, arranging classrooms, contacting teachers,announcing issues related to the course, class organization

Foreign language team: Headed by the team leader,

responsible for foreign language expertise, designing, draftingcurriculum, teaching content, and arranging a force of teacherssuitable for each classroom

The program is designed to prepare and synthesizeknowledge to take exams for A2 level certificates at theExam Council with the function of organizing the exam orthe Affiliate Center to invite the Examination Council to theOrganizing Center.

I Describe the internship:

1 The first month at Sunshine English Center:

In the first week, the Director - Ms Sang spent her time introducingthe center and its activities In the following days, I have

tried to get used to the working environment, and they are almostkids so I tried to remember their names to get on well with them Imet lots of staff of the Center and they shared their workexperiences, some skills to communicate with children to me Aftergetting used to the working environment, Ms Sang assigned meoffice duty and she arranged a working schedule for me I had atimetable of working every evening from Monday to Saturday.

My job is quite simple The first task I have to do when I go tothe center is welcoming the students Every day, I waited withanother staff member at the door and greeted them and after theclass finished, I would also stand by the door to say goodbye andpay attention to each students until their parents pick them up.Occasionally some parents are late and I talk to the kids to wait fortheir parents

Before starting a class, I usually check the teacher's arrival timeand the class attendance if a student is absent for two sessionswithout permission I will call the parent While they are learning Ioften prepare a lesson plan, check lessons in PowerPoint, gradetheir tests, and complete each class scorebook Before they take themidterm or final exam, I always check their test if there is nothingwrong I will print the test for them Besides, I always keep cleanthe duty room and remind students to keep the classroom clean onSaturdays of each week I often attend center meetings to listen to

my strengths and weaknesses to improve myself and try to makegood my shortcomings
