I think he’s/ she’s/ it’s… III.Resources Pictures, Puppets, Sts’ book IV.Procedures: Steps and time Warm-up Vocabulary Teaching activities Play the Slap the board game Language focus Play the game Modes W-Class Individual -T recalls new words like, quiet, crowded, -Sts follows T’s instructions pretty, hometown, small, W-class Individual beautiful, mountain, think, busy, island Listen and circle - Tell Ss that they are going to listen to the recording and tick Key: - Play the recording for Ss to 1/ c listen 2/ a W-class Individual W-class - Ask Students to listen again and 3/ a the task - Ask Students to give answers - Play the recording again for Ss to listen and check - Give correct answers - Tell the class that they are going to write about their favourite book - Have them answer the questions Sts’ own answers and check their understanding W-class Individual W-class - Set a time limit for Ss to the task independently - Monitor the activity and offer Write about help,if necessary your favourite - Call some Ss to read aloud their book writing - Ask others to give feedback - T asks Ss the task for minutes T goes around for help, if necessary - T calls some Ss go to the board and write down their answers The others give comment - T gives feedback Let’s play Storytelling - Tell the class that they are going W-class to play game storytelling Individual - Divide the class into two teams Give each team sheets with the same set of phrases from a story Each member of the teams has Play the game one sheet Ss with the phrases should line up to form the sentence - The team which has the most points wins the game Home work -T tells the Home work, Ss take Learn by heart the new note words W-class
