Smithville High School Daily Announcements Friday, September 17, 2021 Sophomores: Don’t forget, Parent Night for class ring orders will be Monday, September 20th from 4-6pm A college representative from Pittsburg State University will be here on Monday during the lunch shifts Another Warrior football season and fun filled Friday nights on campus are upon us Smithville High School has a proud tradition of strong community support as countless fans turn out to support our Warriors The safety of students, staff, and visitors to our campuses are of the highest priority to the Smithville School District To that end we ask students to observe the following: ● Smithville High School students are encouraged to sit in the student section in the south section of the main home bleachers ● Students will not be allowed to play ball or otherwise congregate to the west of the stadium (behind the home bleachers) ● Tailgating is allowed at home football games Please be safe and responsible while tailgating and pick up all trash Word of the Day: gasconade noun | gas-kuh-NAYD Gasconade is confident talk or behavior that is intended to impress other people EXAMPLE SENTENCE: After all his gasconade, the contestant couldn't manage to complete the obstacle race
