Service 1.Product Introduction APJ1000 is a floating piezoelectric dispensing valve, which is wildly used in the field of SMT, conductive silver pulp, IC encapsulation adhesive, bottom filling adhesive, sealant and surface coating adhesive and other kinds of controllable quantity of flow and high speed dispensing work Not only it can inject glue into a narrow space that one hundred micrometer, but also can make precision dispensing with 0.01mg in the designated position In accordance with Au series automatic dispensing panel, APJ10000 jetting valve can bring maximum economic benefits to customers in the industries such as electronic packaging, lighting, energy and life science and technology, as well as the occasions where high precision and high efficiency are required want 1.1 Production Formation and Specification An integrated APJ1000 piezoelectric dispensing system concludes three parts: valve module APJ10000, cold melt controller module D-170H, hot melt adhesive module D-170M And valve module APJ1000 and cold melt controller module among them are basic parts used in cold melt dispensing, after adding hot melt module, APJ1000 can use hot melt dispensing Meanwhile, in order to satisfy different dispensing condition, it can be installed many other configurations that consumer can choose the suitable one in accordance with their own adhesive dispensing system which used in hot melt adhesive dispensing and other hot melt glue 1,2,3 (power line and valve signal line are not marked) formed cold melt adhesive dispensing system to be be decided in accordance with actual glue features and measuring condition 1.2 Installation and Structure This Figure shows the outside dimension and mounting hole site of valve module, which can be method of heat part of cold melt adhesive It takes protection case to package, which including valve, nozzle heated module and dismounting spanner All these configuration will be individual packed and Guide spanner No.31: one end of it is to adjust nozzle: tighten nozzle in clockwise direction or loosen in anticlockwise direction; the other end can adjust the guiding of firing pin Nozzle spanner -No.30: nozzle is screwed on vertical fluid channel, which make nozzle can connect firing pin in just condition Nozzle extrusion device No.32: If the nozzle and nozzle fastener contacted too tighten, number and specification of control module The introduction of this part is mainly about the hot melt number and specification of adhesive auxiliary module which has independently package and selling When hot melt adhesive is dispensing, the valve needs cooling Cooler can between 0.02MPa-0.05MPa 4.1.1 Items of D-170M controller This controller only has two components: power module D-170M and barrel, syringe feeding When using mass flow dispensing, APJ1000 jetting valve can connect feeding tube which transport by cassette glue barrel, pressure tank and other bulk storing equipment to needs appropriate cleaning and maintenance after each using to prolong its vulnerable parts life and make sure the consistency and high quality of dispensing After long time using (usually one week), the valve needs completely maintenance 6.1 Cleaning and Maintenance of fluid contacting parts Core maintenance of APJ1000 dispensing valve is the fluid contacting parts, in case fluid solidification, blocking in the tube after long time nonuse Cleaning and maintenance steps are as follows: (1) Close feeding pressure and turn the pressure to 0; break the controller power line and remove signal cable, heating connecting line and so on (2) Dismount APJ1000 jetting valve from fixed panel of platform (3) Use nozzle spanner, overlook it and unscrew it in clockwise rotation Nozzle spanner Nozzle cage Figure6.1 The direction of unscrewing nozzle cage (4) Take down nozzle cage, nozzle, nozzle fastening and sealing O-ring carefully from fluid channel; as the Figure 6.2 shows that using cleaning swab scrub glue on surface of unscrewing nozzle Then using 1.5 nozzle cleaner export glue in the nozzle fastening and using cleaning swab scrub glue on the mural of internal fluid channel Nozzle cleaning: export glue in the pore of nozzle by using odontorine, then blowing out left glue by pneumatic gun Repeat this operation to ensure that there is no glue in dispensing nozzle; Method of odontorine unchoking nozzle is as the following Figure 6.3 Finally, put nozzle and nozzle fastening into ultrasonic wave clean at least 10 min, then blowing solvent in the surface of nozzle Then to observe condition of pore nozzle and if there still have glue, the cleaning step needs to repeat SPECIAL ATTENTION: These parts need to be taken down from erect flow channel in case scratch or lose nozzle Figure6.3 method of dismounting nozzle (5) Use 2.5mm hex wrenches to unscrew M3 socket head cap screw to separate fluid channel and valve Fluid channel should be taken down carefully Because seal ring has some force of friction, after unscrewing to an extent, fluid channel needs to be hardly pulled down As the Figure 6.4 shows Fluid module Figure 6.4 dismounting underneath chamber (6) After dismantling liquid channel, erect liquid channel and Luer bracket need to be split off by 2.5mm hex wrenches; then the Luer taper is unscrewed by the other end of dispensing spanner Cleaning inside wall which has liquid by 1.5mm nozzle cleaner and hairbrush, after then, Luer taper, Luer bracket and erect liquid are all put in ultrasonic equipment at least 10 minutes Specific information steps above and ensuring each part is cleaned Please assemble them in inverted sequence in accordance with dismantling sequence Note: In case of temporary discomfort afer cleaning, the quick-wear injector nozzle should not be installed directly on the rubber valve It should be kept properly and separately, lest the rubber valve accidentally fall or hit the sharp parts and damage the nozzle fault diagnosis APJ1000 is devoted to give the most cost-effective equipment to customers, because it’s a stable product which is easy to maintain and customers can easily adjust and maintain higher rate of flowing But before using, sensibility of glue to temperature must be checked Too higher temperature isn’t benefit for viscosity but to accelerate solidification of glue or lead it preparation of the items in this chapter can be more beneficial to the use of products and help customers to be more efficient and safer production 9.1 Recommendation of required objects in factory Electron microscope: to observe focus or bubble and other fault Ultrasonic cleaning device: cleaning channel, saving maintenance time Pneumatic gun: cleaning raffinate on surface, efficiency and shortcut Industrial alcohol (solvent): dissolving medium, cleaning in wall of channel and prevent glue pollution when change another glue Collective vessel of raffinate: depollution workbench 9.2 Setting parameter of dispensing volume In the process of dispensing volume adjustment, there has four features to change the volume directly: feeding pressure, firing pin range, nozzle specification and adjustment time and dot number of piezoelectric Different applicable condition needs different parameter and accessories cooperating together that can make idealized production effect, and we don’t recommend to change any parameters blindly We abide by using the minimum dots number and shortest time to produce the best product Unlimited increase dots number and opening time will increase friction and can’t realize dispensing result Specific applicable configuration will be guided by our professional technical supports 9.3 Heating module Valve that needs to add heating module should be checked the fixation of thermal probe and heating block On the process of using, once the condition of falling or leaking has happened, please turn off the temperature control device as soon as possible 10 Specification of operational key points In order to make customers better use this type of product, the summary specification of APJ1000 is as follows: If the equipment is not applicable at some time, you’d better to close the power of controller Reason: If equipment has power but don’t work for a long time, it will not operate so fluently when it open again and parameter needs to be reset usually Turning off the power and opening it again, the equipment can be used again with previous parameter Prohibit hot plug Reason: when valve power on, plugging the signal line on valve body may lead overshoot and cause damage to valve which may give irreversible damage to dispensing performance Must having heat dissipation after long time successive using Reason: decreasing temperature can output more stable and cooling air pressure which is usually in 0.02~0.05MPa, cooling air must be filtered lest short circuit by moisture Shorten range as much as possible and try not to use full range; Reason: ceramics driven has more powerful signal to move more quickly which will be more sensible to electric signal and easier to be interrupted After the valve is opened, the nozzle should be tightened to seal Reason: piezoelectric only needs very small output displacement can realize dispensing If it is tightened too much, it will be condensed a part of output position and decrease performance So it shouldn’t be tightened too much Hard disk temperature controlling Monitor hard disk temperature When hard disk temperature is too hot, the last executive order is shut down Valve temperature controlling Monitor valve temperature When valve temperature is too hot, the last executive order is shut down 11 Afer sales service The term of service of APJ1000 is rated life of the product which is delivered to the appointed place Malfunction in normal use condition, local agencies can provide free maintenance and part change (except accessories included) If one of the following situations occurs, it does not belong to the free warranty service category, and the corresponding person shall be charged labor and material costs, and the warranty period of the equipment is full: Valve can’t operate normally because of inappropriate working condition, overburden working or trying some applicant beyond valve performance Valve modified by oneself and lead valve can’t operate or
