- This is the first of the four cartoons about Miu and Cat and Chit and Mouse.

To help Ps get the idea of the story, simply let them read and listen to this episodes, the initial task will be more challenging.

- Ask Ps to look at the pictures and ask them questions

e.g.: what can you see?

- Play the recording and ask Ps to read and listen

3. Complete the conversation: 7’

-Ask students to read the story in the book and fill the suitable words to complete the dialogue.

- Ask Ps to read the text in silence and check their comprehension

- Ask Ps to work in pairs to do the exercise

- Check the correct answers and call some pairs to read the conversation in front of the class

- Have pupils turn their books to page 38.

- Ask Ps to read the story to get the information in order to match the questions to the answers.

-Ask Ps to read the sentences individually and do the task. Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary.

- Have pupils trade their answers for correction.

- Call on some pupils to report their answers. The rest of the class listen and give comments.

- Make a few questions to check pupils’

comprehension of the sentences.

- Have the whole class read each sentence in chorus to reinforce their pronunciation.
