Các nghiên cứu tiếp theo có thể đƣợc thực hiện nhằm khắc phục những hạn chế của nghiên cứu. Các định hướng được đề xuất như sau:
Tiếp tục hoàn thiện và kiểm định lại thang đo Sự công bằng và Hành vi công dân để phát triển thang đo có độ tin cậy cao hơn, phù hợp với các tổ chức tại Việt Nam.
Bổ sung các biến độc lập vào mô hình để gia tăng độ tin cậy, khả năng giải thích sự biến thiên của biến phụ thuộc. Các biến tác động chƣa đƣợc kể đến trong
mô hình bao gồm: Sự cam kết, phong cách lãnh đạo, sự hài lòng trong công việc…
Sử dụng Phương pháp xử lý số liệu khác như phân tích khẳng định nhân tố, mô hình cấu trúc tuyến tính để làm giảm sai số, gia tăng độ tin cậy của kết quả phân tích.
Kiểm định lại mô hình với kích cỡ mẫu lớn hơn, với những loại hình tổ chức khác nhau cũng nhƣ trong những lĩnh vực khác nhau để gia tăng độ tổng quát và khẳng định độ tin cậy của mô hình.
