I Objective

- By the end of this lesson, students will review words from getting started to unit 5

- Practice listening, speaking, reading, writing skills

- Encourage Ss to use the structure more regulary

II Teaching aids

1 Teacher’s aids: Teacher’s book, class CDs, flashcards, projector, TV.

2 Students’ aids: Student book, notebooks, workbook.

- Model - Talk - Practice, individual work, pair work, group work

IV Procedures

1 Warm up (5’)

*Activity: Hold it up

- T asks Ss to put crayons with different colors on

their desks

- T say a color and asks Ss to hold up their

crayons

2 New lesson

*Activity 1 Review new words (15’)

- T stick asks Ss to look at the pictures and call

out the words they can see on the board

Vocab:

Hello, goodbye, stand up, sit down, listen,

mother, father, brother, sister, pencil, book, bag,

red, yellow, blue, pink, white, flower, head, leg,

arm, cat, dog, bird, monkey, snake, bear

- T lets Ss read aloud and correct their mistake

*Activity:" Guess the picture" (15')

- T asks Ss to look at the example

- T divide the class into two teams

- T asks Ss to stand facing away from the board

the others say “Yes” for the correct sentence and
