Presentation: Listen and say:  Have students listen to the CD to find out the kid’s names  Play the CD while holding Flashcards Have students point to the character in their books  Have students listen and repeat twice Have students say the names of the characters in groups and individuals Listen and find:  Say the names in random  Have students listen and point to characters in their books  Hold Flashcards to support to students Practice: Have students fill in the gap some words on the board (2) Week Monday, August 29th, 2016 UNIT : ME LESSON 2: PERIOD I Aim: By the end of the lesson, students will able to greet, introduce themselves and say goodbye in English II Language contents: Vocabulary: Hello, I’m………Bye Structure: I’m……… How are you? I’m… III Teaching Aids: class book, CD track and Flashcards of Tess, Baz, Adam, Pat, Jig IV Steps of teaching: Warm up:  Play a game “ Yes” or “ No” + Guide students to play + Hold one of the Flashcards of the characters and say a wrong name + Hold a flashcard and say a right name Presentation: Listen and say:  Have students look at the picture at page 4,5 and discuss + Who are in the picture? (3) + What is Baz doing? + What is Tess doing?  Have students listen to the CD  Have students listen and repeat twice  Have students listen and say again individually Say and do:  Have students act as Baz and Tess + Model with a student + Have students work in pairs  Have some pairs go to the board and act again Sing:  Introduce the greeting song  Explain that it’s polite to ask about health to greet  Holding flashcard of Baz, present “ How are you?”  Answer with Baz’s voice “ I’m fine Thank you!”  Have students listen and repeat twice  Model with students and exchange  Have students listen to the song  Play the track with holding flashcard  Have students listen and sing along Practice: Call some pairs go to the board and introduce his/her name and ask about health together Week Monday, September 5th , 2016 (4) UNIT : ME LESSON 3: LETTER FUN (PERIOD 3) I Aim: II - By the end of the lesson, students will able to say, recognize and write letter Aa - Students can recognize and say the sound /æ/ Language contents: Vocabulary: Adam, apple III Teaching Aids: class book, CD track and Flashcards of Tess, Baz, Adam, Pat, Jig, Adam, apple IV Steps of teaching: Warm up: Play a game Find the missing character - Stick flashcards of Baz, Tess, Pat, Jig on the board - Remove one Presentation:  Learn the letter:  Teach new words: apple, Adam  Notice the first sounds of the two words are the same /æ/  Write a under the flashcard of apple  Write A under the flashcard of Adam  Have students repeat apple  Have students repeat Adam  Have students read again chorally and individually (5) Sing  Introduce the song of letter A  Have students listen  Have students listen and repeat one by one sentence  Have students listen and sing all the song twice  Have students sing by themselves Find:  Have students find “ a” in the alphabet on the top of the page Tell them “ a “ is a the first letter in the alphabet  Have students look at the big picture of page Say Adam and ask students to point the character  Say apple and check students’ answer Practice: have students play “Snap” Week Monday, September 5th , 2016 UNIT : ME LESSON 4: SONG (PERIOD 4) I Aim: - By the end of the lesson, students will able to say, understand and respond to imperatives - Recognize the written form of characters’ names - Associate words and pictures II Language contents: (6) Vocabulary: Clap, stand up, sit down, point to III Teaching Aids: class book, CD track and Flashcards of Tess, Baz, Adam, Pat, Jig IV Steps of teaching: Warm up: Guessing game • Cover the picture of Jig • Slowly uncover the picture and have students guess • Repeat with other characters Presentation: Say and Have students discuss the content of the picture at page by guiding questions  + who are they? + what are the kids doing? + what is Baz pointing to?  Say “Point to Pat” and model pointing to Pat  Have students the same  Repeat say and model + stand up + sit down + clap Sing:  Have students listen to the song and to the actions in it + Have students listen to the CD + Have students listen and repeat each line + Have students sing and actions (7) Sing and do:  Point to a student in the class  Have students sing the song again the replace the name of the characters by the name of friends in their class  Have students the actions Practice: have students play a game “ Freeze” Monday, September 12th , 2016 Week UNIT : ME LESSON 5: LETTER FUN! (PERIOD 5) I Aim: - By the end of the lesson, students will able to say, recognize and write letter Bb - Say, recognize sound /b/ II Language contents: Vocabulary: Baz, bird III Teaching Aids: class book, CD track and Flashcards of Baz, bird IV Steps of teaching: Warm up: Play the game “ Recognize sound / æ /”  Guide students raise their hand if the word begin with sound / æ / + say Adam, apple + say Baz Presentation: (8) Learn the letter  Teach new words + bird + Baz  Notice the first sound of the two words are the same /b/  Write b under the flashcard of bird /b/  Write B under the flashcard of Baz /b/  Notice the name of the sound /b/ is /bi/  Have students repeat bird and Baz Sing:  Introduce the song of letter B  Have students listen  Have students listen and repeat one by one sentence  Have students listen and repeat twice Find:  Have students find b in the alphabet  Notice students b is the second letter  Have students point to Baz and bird in the picture  Have students point out things in the picture beginning with sound Practice: have students play a game “ Jump” (9) Monday, September 12th , 2016 Week UNIT : ME LESSON 6: STORY (PERIOD 6) I Aim: - By the end of the lesson, students can understand and enjoy story in English II Language contents: Vocabulary: point, sit down, clap, stand up, III Teaching Aids: class book, CD track and Flashcards of Tess, Baz, Pat, Jig IV Steps of teaching: Warm up: • Have four students act as Pat, Jig, Tess, Baz • Play CD track • Have students review by singing and doing the actions Presentation: Look and say  Have students point to Pat, Jig, Tess, Baz in their book  Have students point to the picture in the right order  Have students discuss about the content of the pictures Listen  Have students listen to the CD and find out what happen to Tess and Baz  Have students tell what they can understand  Play the CD twice Have students listen and repeat chorally and individually (10) Listen and act  Stick flashcard of Jig and Pat on the board  Have students listen to the CD and act as Baz  Have some groups of two students go to the board and act as Tess and Baz Practice: have students fill in the gap with the words on the board Monday, September 19th , 2016 Week UNIT : MY CLASSROOM PERIOD 7: LESSON I Aim: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify the things in the classroom II Language contents: Vocabulary: Window, table, chair, bin, board, door, picture III Teaching Aids: class book, CD track, flashcards of window, table, chair, bin, board, door, picture IV Steps of teaching: Warm up: • Have students look at the picture at page 10, 11 • Have students discuss about the content of the picture: + Who is in the picture?
