Vocabulary : forename, surname, male, female, weight III TECHNIQUES Question & Answer; gap - filling; IV TEACHING AIDS : Cassette recorder; tape; a chart of a medical record V TIME : 45 minutes VI PROCEDURES:  Revision of the previous lesson : ( 3’) - Greetings - Have Ss look at the exercises and them - Have Ss look at the picture ( page 107/ textbook) then -> Tell something ( pair work ) What are they doing ? -> They are waiting to see the doctor What does the nurse ? ->The nurse need to take temperature, measure ,weigh … -> The whole class write them on their note book ( all class )  New lesson : ( 40’ ) Steps Warm up (5’) Teacher and students -Ss chant : “How old is he?” (cassette 2, p 19) Contents * Lead-in ( Ask & answer ) A2(5’) Pre-listening While-listening (10’) T shows the picture on page 108 and asks Ss some questions : T ASKS AND STUDENT ANSWER : 1/Who are they? -> (They are the doctor and Hoa.) 2/What are they doing? ->(The doctor is asking Hoa some questions about her health ) - Ss write the title into their notebooks : *TASK : LISTEN THEN WRITE THE MISSING WORDS : - Teacher fixes a copy of the dialog on Unit 11 : KEEP FIT , STAY HEALTHY Part : A CHECK – UP ( A 2,3 ) (2) Post- listening (5’) the board : ( group works) Doctor : I want to ( ) …you a few questions before I start , Hoa ( )….old are you ?
