(1)Unit 12: Music Period Reading Class description    Number of students: Grade: 10th Level: Pre-Intermediate Time: 45’ Objectives By the end of the lesson, Students will be able to:  Develop the reading skill (scan for specific information)  Broaden some vocabulary items related to the topic  Use the vocabulary to talk about favorite kind of music  Improve the background knowledge about music and the industry of music Assumed knowledge Students have already known some simple vocabulary related to the topic Anticipated problems - There may be lack of time, so the post – reading part should be assigned as homework - Ss may not know the techniques to the tasks, so T should offer them some tips before let them the tasks Teaching aids Blackboard, textbook, handouts, picture, recording… Procedure Activities Aims/Techniques Warm Aim: motivate Ss up before the new lesson 8mins Technique: Give the instructions (steps - Teacher’s activities - Greet the class: Students’ activities - Listen to T “Good afternoon everyone!
