Procedure : Teachers Activities Students Activities Warm up : -Divide the class into two teams -Ask Ss to play the games in 1 minute and 30 seconds -Ask Ss to give some nouns of jobs -Call on Ss to give the answers on the board -Give feedback -Announce the winner -Lead in the new lesson Pre-reading : Task a) -Ask Ss to work in pairs to do the task -Present some Yes- No questions and the answers A: Do you work in ? B: Yes, I do. Do you wear uniform ? No, I dont Do you have a high degree ? Thats right -Call on some Ss to play the game in front of the class -Give feedback Task b) Answer the questions : -Ask Ss to look at the pictures on page 68 -Get Ss to work in groups of four to do task b) -Call on Ss to give the answers -Give feedback and correct answers -Look at the charts on the board -Play the game as directed -Go to the board to write the words ( in turns) * Suggested Answers: architect, engineer, doctor, singer, etc -Look at the Yes- No questions and the answers -Work in pairs to do the task -Play the game in front of the class -Look at the pictures on page 68 -Work in pairs to do the task -Compare their answers -Give their answers * Suggested Answers: 1.
