(1)Week : 17 Period: 33 Date of preparation: 09/12/2012 Date of teaching: 12/12/2012 Unit 5: THE MEDIA LESSON 4: I OBJECTIVES: - By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to write about the benefits of internet in daily life II PREPARATION: Extra-board III PROCEDURE: TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES 1/ Warm up : (7’) - Let Ss play game “bingo” about the benefits of the Internet in groups “Bingo” Chatting, getting information, education, communication, entertainment STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES - Play game * Keys: Education, getting information, entertainment 2/ Pre-writing: (15’)  Activity 1: - Answer the questions - Ask questions to remind of writing Three parts They are introduction, argument series of argument and conclusion How many parts are there in an Introduction: my opinion is argument? What are they? that…./I think What languages we use in Series of argument: firstly/secondly/ Introduction/Series of argument/Conclusion? finally Conclusion: therefore/ in conclusion  Activity 2: - Have students read the cues (p.44,write), ask questions to check their understanding: A What can you say about the development of the Internet?
