situations in which passive voice is used Passive voice is often used : When the focus is on the agent(who or what performs the action).( trọng đến người vật thực hành động) When the focus is on the receiver , the result of the action or processes involving things rather than people ( nhấn mạnh đến người nhận hành động, kết quả, trình sản xuất ) When the agent is unimportant, unknown or obvious(khi tác nhân không quan trọng, không xác định rõ) When the writer/speaker wants to avoid taking responsibility for an action or to avoid blaming another person.(khi tác giả tránh trách nhiệm
