Lesson 3: Part 1-2-3 I Objectives: By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to - Identify two-syllable words with the stress on the first syllable: ‘city, ‘village, ‘mountains and ‘tower correctly - listen and pronounce two-syllable words with the stress on the first syllable: ‘city, ‘village, ‘mountains and ‘tower correctly - Express students’ concern about ones’ address by chanting “Where you live?” II Teaching aids: Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, pictures, speaker, laptop Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks III Procedures: A Warm-up - Ask and answer the questions in Activity ** Oral comments: pronunciation, grammar B New lesson Activity 1: Listen and repeat Step1: Discover the words’ stress: - How many syllable of each word? - Read aloud them?
